ECFC 5 - 1 NIPPS JNR XI (sorry except for Barry's overhead kick I 
can't remember who scored what in which order)

A hat-trick from Barry and two goals from Hank ensured ECFC secured a 
convincing win against Nipps Jnr, in a game they dominated from start 
to finish.

Despite making all the early running and creating chances ECFC fell 
behind when a deflected cross looped away from Bish and although 
Medders made a great attempt to get in the way of the header the ball 
found its way into the net.

ECFC equalised and then a mistake by the Nipps Jnr keeper saw Barry's 
overhead kick give ECFC the lead.

Hank's strong shouts for a penalty at the end of the first half were 
turned down by referee Chris Whiting - who had an excellent game.

Five substitutes at half time meant ECFC didn't start the second half 
as well but a breakaway attack from ECFC made the score 3-1.

Bish then saved well down to his left and then dived bravely at the 
feet of a Nipps Jnr attacker to stop the deficit being reduced. After 
denying another attack with his right leg the ECFC keeper then 
intercepted a cross while diving in mid air.

The Nipps Jnr side then seemed to give up and two further goals made 
the score 5-1. 

It was an excellent performance from ECFC.
