| I had meningitis when i was 5. The hospital told my parents I had 6 hours to live. In that time I floated over my bed, and I can remember hanging on for dear life onto my bed rails. I didn�t know what it was at the time being only 5 years old, but I told my mum when I got home from hospital. I remember seeing the room from quite a height, higher than in bed. I also remember seeing the locker with a paddington bear sticker on it. I can only describe it as a feeling of being pulled upwards, but I was just holding on. |

| An apparition of a woman has been seen here on several occasions just at the end of closing time by different people, who can describe what the lady is wearing. This was again witnessed a few days ago when at closing time, a woman was seen to walk into another bar area, and when prompted by a regular that someone was in the other bar waiting to be served, one of the bar staff went to serve her although knowing that the particular bar had not had any customers that evening and had closed the bar. When she got there the lady in question had disappeared. On another occasion she was seen walking to the other bar when bar staff had returned from an outside catering party well after closing time. Further investigation into the history of this public house is taking place by East Anglian Paranormal. |
