| This evening started off with meeting Richard Felix at the Gaol and then heading out on a guided walk round some of Derby's purported haunted locations. Then we returned back to the Gaol for a meal and refreshments before beginning with the evening's events. First of all Richard gave us a talk and answered any questions that were put to him. Glass Divination Ian took part in this with myself filming the event in the condemned cell. The glass did indeed move across the old oak table seemingly with very little pressure on the top of the glass. Table Tipping This we filmed and took part in. After a while the table was moving quite freely rocking from side to side and moving forwards towards the cell door entrance. All seemed pretty amazing. Until it has since been revealed this someone was giving it a hefty push. As this was taking place in the dark and we had not got our camera into the position where we could catch the offender, initially we were somewhat amazed at this, but it just goes to show you, do not trust others you do not know at these sort of events. Seance Again we took part in this and as this was in near complete darkness we thought we could see shapes looming in front of our face, but looking at it in the cold light of day, believe that it was the eyes playing tricks and trying to focus and make something logical out of the darkness. A few people got somewhat carried away thinking they saw a person walking towards them but it was in fact another member of the group just trying to see what the photographer was seeing and pandamonium broke out for a few minutes with a lot of screaming etc. Not wanting to sound too negative about the experience the evening was good in meeting Richard Felix from the "Most Haunted" crew and listening to his explanations and theories. But if anyone else is thinking of going on one of these organised events - remember you can only account for your own integrity and not that of perhaps another individual who seems hell bent on ruining the night for others. Also I would just like to add Richard Felix and the staff at the Gaol were not involved in this and this person's antics. |
