PROGRAMS:

THE SIGMA BETA CLUBS serve young men at the ages of 8-18 years through mentoring, educational enhancement, job skills training, cultural awareness and positive male role modeling. These clubs exist in all Alumni chapters of the Fraternity with strong support of collegiate chapters of the Fraternity.

SIGMAS AGAINST TEENAGE PREGNANCY PLUS (SATAPP) serves to reduce the incidence of teenage pregnancies in all of our communities. Additionally, it serves to educate and empower men on the responsibilities of their roles as fathers before, during and after the birth process. This is the cornerstone of a cooperative
partnership with the March of Dimes Birth Defect Foundation and has been a project of the Fraternity for more than twenty-one years.

SIGMAS WAGING WAR AGAINST CANCER (SWWAC) serves to increase awareness of the positive impact of early detection and prevention of prostate and colorectal cancer while raising funds for education and research in these areas. It is the cornerstone of Sigma’s partnership with the American Cancer Society.

THURGOOD MARSHALL SCHOLARSHIP FUND (TMSF) provides the opportunityfor Sigma men to become E-Mentors for students, attend leadership training at TMSF Leadership Institute, co-sponsor a International Summit to address issues facing African American Males, serve as an advocacy for Public HBCUs and establish an Endowment for scholarship opportunities for our Sigma Beta Club and Collegiate members who desire to attend Public HBCUs.

PROJECT S.E.E.D. (Sigma Economic Empowerment Development) is one of Sigma’s International Bigger & Better Business Programs, which provides the opportunity for our members to focus on two important topics: financial management and homeownership. Because of the rising costs associated with pursuing an education
and dwindling scholarships, loans and grants, high school and collegiate students will be required to find economically viable options to deal with college tuition, books, transportation and other living expenses. It also provides the opportunity for Sigma men to focus on helping low-to-moderate-income families in America become
homeowners.

PROJECT VOTE serves to fulfill our mission of "Service to Humanity" in the political arena. The focus of this program is to increase voter awareness and participation at the local, state and international levels, while educating everyone on the power of progress through a single and simple act of voting.
