Fire--Sensation
Fire is the Element of strength, the force of faith, and the power of protection. Fire leads us to purification of our Self and Nature, the inescapable force that draws us into personal evolution. Fire activates the life forces and is the rhythm, the sensation, and the heat of personal power. Fire creates the spiritual warrior in service to the highest light of truth and is the force that brings us to the true purpose of our lives.
Water--Intuition
Water is the Element of emotion an d is the power of inner knowing and the sacred force of self-healing. Water is the intuition and is the inner teacher who instructs subtly by shaking our emotional equilibrium. Water is what we use when we finally learn to honor how we feel inside. Water tempts us with a little taste of the Grail, then requires that we search within ourselves for the rest. Water is the eternal Grail of life.
Earth--Connection
Earth is the Element of manifestation and is the power of practical wisdom and the structure that sustains our growth. Earth connects us to the organized pattern of the mundane world and is the reality of everyday existence. It is the routines and ritual that make us real, and therefore the element of reality. Earth makes the simple profound and is the profound truth of necessity. It is the simplicity of doing what must be done. Earth is the everyday hero, the hunter, the chieftain, and the clan mother. It is the element of abiding patience and is making do with what you have while you work towards what is yet to come.
Air--Perception
Air is the element of communication, is the power of perception and the medium of mental expansion. It is the element of inspiration and is the creative force of the intellect expressing the mind of humankind. Air is the focus in the midst of chaos and is the sharpened awareness of clear thought and the sure strength of concentration. It is the illumination and is the means by which we may receive and transmit messages of enlightenment. Air is the sacred frequency of the divine, clear of the static that is the mundane world.
Spirit--Transcendence
Spirit is the Element of the eternal and is the force that transcends form and power that pervades the All. Spirit transmutes all energy into matter and returns it to energy once again and is the many vibrational frequencies of life. It is the great mystery and is the undefined meaning of all beings. It has no paradigm. It is the foreign and of the familiar, and is the alien and the ally, both of whom we know intimately. Spirit is the Element with which we create our Divine, and from which, in turn, we are created.
