When the game loads, the title screen above is what you will be presented with. Earth Shaker allows either keyboard or joystick control with default keys Q up, A down, O left, P right and M fire. These can be redefined using option two. Option five will reset the computer, and option one starts the game taking you to the password entry screen. After the title music has stopped, the high score table is displayed which initially looks like the one below and does so until you finish a game with more than 3999 points (equalling a score on the high score board e.g. 4000 is good enough).
While the high scores are being displayed, the following message scrolls along the bottom of the screen: " ... Earth Shaker - featuring anti-gravity, 4d teleport, forcefields, bubbles, elixirs, jumping jelly beans and much much more .... Can you survive 32 deadly diamond mines ? .... Well - it depends if you are sly enough. But watch out you don't bang your head, burn yourself or take too long ... Keys are redifinable but don't use G (abort) , H (quit screen) or F (map) .....
