This stuff replaces earth on a handful of levels, and is basically exactly the same apart from the fact that it responds to gravity. Luckily though it won't crush you if it falls on your head which is just as well because when it is introduced on level 13, the whole level is full of it and the game runs noticably slower. Reversing gravity with wet hell soil can be chaos, but it has to be done on a couple of later levels.
