of LOUISIANA

November 9, 2005

Dear Tammy,

On behalf of the over 214,000 kidney patients in the state of Louisiana, I would like to thank you for donating your vehicle to our Kindey Car Campaign.  The monies raised from the campaign will enable the Foundation to continue to expand its many programs and services aimed at helping today's kidney patient while erasing renal and urinary tract disease from our future.

Two of these programs directly help young children with end-stage renal disease.  Our Camp Independence program sends children on dialysis to a special summer camp where they are able to receive dialysis treatment as needed and have a camp experience that may otherwise not be available to them because of their medical condition.  To ducate young children about kidneys and kidney disease, we offer "Captain Kidney Coloring Books" to schools.

In addition, there are over two thousand people in Louisiana who are kidney dialysis patients or wh have received kidney transplants.  Our organization provides them with "Medic Alert" jewelry at no cost.  These are stainless steel bracelets or necklaces that are stamped with information that would be used to save the patients' lives in the event of a medical emergency.

These are just a few of the ways your donation helps Louisiana kidney patients.  Once again, thank you for your contributuion.  If you have any questions or need additional information, please call us at 504-861-4500.

Sincerely,

Torie Kranze
