*Very Good*     Excellent
I really liked this movie, although Im having trouble figuring out how much I liked it considering I felt very sick from eating popcorn.  I very much enjoyed seeing Pierre Boulanger.  I think this is his second movie, but he is a real cutie and a very good young actor.  Omar Sharif played an old man who was very satisfied with his life and religion.  The young boy and old man become close friends in this movie and it is touching to see what the man teaches the boy, despite their religious differences, Muslim vs. Jew.  I would like to see this movie again when I am not feeling sick from popcorn, and I definitely recommend it for anyone, besides children, to see.  This movie also has some good music, mellow tunes.  I dont know much about the director and screenwriter, but I think they did a great job on this movie.
