John is now professionally knows as John Wollner. Wollner is his mother's maiden name, and his great grandfather was actually named John Wollner.
Why the change? He just got tired of having to 'explain' his name (Gegenhuber) all the time.

His first apperence with this name was in a play in Los Angeles at the Actor's Gang called "Ugly's First World," by Jeff Dorcher. He plays an "infamous British mystic" Aleister Crowley.
