| This page is an inspiration that was partly created by my frustrations with my own love life and partly inspired by my friend Hughie. Thanks boi! It is supposed to be taken wit a sense of humour and a carefree nature. Men this is my ideal, but i know there is no such thing as a perfect man, so don't think all expectations have to be met. | 1.Loves God as the number one thing in his life. He has the same beliefs in Jesus and Heaven and Morals as myself. Accepts Jesus as his saviour. 2.NO MAMMAS BOIZ PLEASE. I think of myself as an INDEPENDENT womin and I need an independent man! I'm not here to be your mama or slave so making your own beds and cleaning up after yourself is a good thang men! 3.Loves me for who I am including all the little quirky things I do. That means loving me including my so called imperfections such as a small chest. 4.RESPECT for others. Including me and himself. 5.Honesty is alwayz the best policy. It's better for you to tell me the truth so I can forgive you instead of keeping something horrible inside. That doesn't mean I'll forgive your right away!! 6.Gentlemen wayz. Kind, courteous, and polite. I'm old fashion this way:) 7.Sense of humour. I love to laugh. You don't have to be Robin Williams, but making me laugh is a bounus. And laugh along with me makes me feel good too:) 8.Becomes my best friend. I've alwayz dreamed that my soulmate was my best friend. Someone who alwayz shared most everything with me. Someone who could just sit with me and have the best conversation without saying anything at all. Someone who brings out the BEST in me! REMEMBER: WHEN YOU TURN 60, THERE'S NOT MUCH YOU CAN DO EXCEPT TALK! So he'd have to be someone I could have really great convos with! 9. Believes that I'm beautiful inside and out. 10.Gives me freedom and space. Yes men, womin like their "ME" time too. We're not all clingy to you 24/7. We need gurlz nightz out too. 11.PAMPER ME!!! I love to be pampered once in a while. I don't need material things, but flowers are a nice touch. Serenade me too. I love a man with heart and who is willing to embarrass himself a little. THAT'S GUTS! 12.Confidence in himself! It's attractive! Stick up for me and have a backbone. Yes, just because I'm an independent womin and I like to feel feministic and modern, I do adore men that will stick up for me when I am in distress like when a scrub is hitting on me, or when your mama is dissing me, or when i'm in some kind of danger....I love a macho man that cares and shows it but doesn't go overboard with the macho stuff:) 13.I'm a womin. I have needs too:) So strutt your sexy thang on the dance floor. I love dancing, especially slow dancing wit my man. So shake ur fine thang boi! |
| The Most Romatic Moment In My LIfe Do you believe in love at first sight? I don't know if I do, but there was once this most incredible thing that happened to me. I was browsing books at a book store with my cuz and sista and I looked up and there was this guy. Now he wasn't all that hot, but he was cute, and the feeling I experienced when our eyes met was so wonderful, so incredible it's kinda hard to describe. It was like we connected or something. At first it was like I couldn't take my eyes off him. It was like there was something that was drawing me to stare at him and I think he was feeling something along those lines cuz he smiled back. I don't know if I'll ever meet this guy again, but I think about him time to time. It sure makes me feel good. Was that you? Let me know:) |

| From the little experience I've had, my thoughts on love are: You shouldn't go looking for love. Love will come to you on its own time when your "heart" is ready. When you "love" someone you will both change to be better people. Being in a healthy relationship includes bringing the best out of each other. You will be MORE loving and caring and LESS selfish and quick to judge. The little things will mean a lot. You will be more willing to sacrifice things that mean a lot to you and quicker to forgive. Most importantly there is a special someone out there for ALL. In order for you two to meet and fall in true love, both must perfect their hearts. So if you feel that love is not knocking on your door, take a good look into your heart. Does it need an attitude adjustment? I know mine did, and i've been smiling ever since. Confidence is cool. I'm a bit shy too ya know. 3.Smile. I totally fall for a big friendly smile. 4.Be mushy and cute. 5.Talk! I love a man who can carry a decent conversation. | I've just finished read the book "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" by Joshua Harris. I'd really like my potential mate to have read this and understand the jist of this book. If I can, I'm going to try and live my love life through these simple yet complicated principles of love. |
