Love May Be...by William August Kobs William August Kobs Bio William was born in 1962 and lives in Shreveport, Louisiana in The United States. He started writng poetry at age 17 and has several of is works published inWorld Anthologies such as Ferment of Images and The Taj Mahal Review by Cyberwit Publications. Of poetry William says "To me poetry is a way of expressing ones feelings. Poetry is different from ordinary thought. If I want to know what someone is thinking, I will ask them. If I want to know what someone is feeling I will read their poetry". William is currently a member of the Poetry Society of America and an Associate Member of the Academy of American Poets. Subtle Expressions by Sandra G. Kelly Sandra G. Kelly Bio "As a child I was influenced by my Mother and Uncle. Who insisted we spend as much time as possible learning poetry. At present ~ I owe much to the gentle friend in my life. An artist in his own right. His encouragement has led me to explore new dimensions of my abilities. Taking his hand has begun the journey of a lifetime." Married for twenty years, I have been blessed with two beautiful children. Renee' and Charles. As an added bonus' there are also five wonderful grandchildren to teach the love of the written and spoken word. Disabled by rheumatoid arthritis in 1991, I was granted the time and freedom to work on my poetry.(between Doctor visits of course :) The journey within has produced some wonderful "Soul Songs", it is my privilege to share those songs with you. I believe God never allows the closing of a door unless he opens a window. I owe him much for the view mine provides. |
