Earth-In-A-Can Album: Italy

Italy is a great place. Best Pizza I've had in a long time. Nice to see they've adopted traditional Western cuisine. I've seen a lot of Italy, and learned a lot of things. The first thing I learned was that shaving your head can be fun. For those around you.

Pisa and Florence

I bought a really clever mug at Pisa, that was on a slant, but unfortunately it broke before I could show anyone. Lots of leather stores. This is where you go to buy leather. This is also where you discover people cannot drive in Italy. Those stripes on the road are not for crossings. They are the chalklines of what was left after twenty cars ran over someone attempt to look over the other side of the road.

Rome and Vatican City

The Vatican currency is just like what's used in the rest of Italy, except it has a picture of the Pope on it instead. At least, that's what it looked like in 2001. Now with the Euro, they've probably changed, but who knows. If you are intending to drive here, then you should be aware that you are allowed to park wherever there is a space. Anywhere.

Venice

Venice has very few problems with bad drivers, as it has very few roads for the drivers. It has canals instead, which according to those that went on the gondola ride, are filled with sewerage, rotting vegetables, and something formerly known as water. It is a pretty city, just very dirty.
