| NESS |
| Ness is the main character of the game and has psychic powers which he uses for healing, recovering HP, and for attacking. He is the strongest person in the game out of all his friends because he gains lots of levels early in the game and becomes stronger and stonger. His weapon of choice is a baseball bat. |

| PAULA |
| Paula is the second most strongest character in the game. She has extremely strong psychic powers and Ness probably learned them from her. Her psychic attacks can't heal or recover HP but she can put up sheilds and other defensive and offensive attacks. Her attacks like PSI freeze are very strong. Paula is kidnapped and Ness has to rescue her before she will joing him on his journey to fight the Giygas. Her weapon of choice is a frying pan. |

| JEFF |
| Jeff is the brains of the party. He can fix broken machines and make them into useful weapons to use in the battles. He isn't all that strong though. He is the 3rd strongest person. Besides from not being too strong, his bottle rockets and gadgets he can pack quite a punch. Jeff comes to the party by Paula using her psychic powers to communicate with Jeff from Winters. He has to save Paula and Ness in order for him to join the party. His weapon of choice is an assortment of guns. |
