CD-R SAILING THE SPANISH VIRGIN ISLANDS/CARRIBEAN (CULEBRA, VIQUES, EL YUNQUE (RAIN FOREST) CAYO SANTIAGO (MONKEY ISLAND) AND PUERTO RICO)

This CD-R provides 250 high quality JPEG pictures and summarizes our sailing adventure aboard our Beneteau Oceanis 400 through Culebra, Vieques and Puerto Rico. For your information, the Spanish Virgins provide secluded beaches, pristine water, excellent snorkeling and easy anchoring. Culebra is 18 miles west of St. Thomas. There are outstanding beaches on its north and west shores and at the surrounding islands of Isla Culebrita and Cayo de Luis Pena. Vieques is 7 1/2 miles south of Culebra. The eastern half of the island is controlled by the US military and anchorages are available when the range is not in use. Esperanza and Ensenda Sun Bay are the only locations on the western/civilian side that provides night anchorage. Puerto Rico is 16 miles west of Culebra. Puerto Del Rey, is the largest marina on the island and El Yunque, a tropical rain forest, is a short drive from the marina. The route to Cayo Santiago is 17 miles southwest of Puerto Del Rey Marina. From the sea it looks like a tropical paradise. It is the home to thousands of monkeys.
