Prelude:
Girls on street are singing 'Here Comes Jack the Ripper'.
A young, shy, young gentleman is now having an interview - to apply for the post of surgeon. After the interview, the interviewer phones to someone and says "Our cover up . . . No, it's our scapegoat . . ."

In Hargreaves House:
Uncle Neel is now giving a lesson to his nephew, Cain: complaining why Cain earned a queer nick <Earl of Poision>; critizing Cain's messy long hair; yelling at Cain's 'I care less' attitude; scolding . . . Cain, on the contrary, feels sleeply and boring. He gives a loud yawn <kind of pulling his uncle's legs?!> as reply. Finally, he woke up from his world after hearing the word 'marriage'. Cain says "Marry? Marry you, Uncle?"

Uncle Neel tells Cain it's time he met his fiance and got married with her. He threatens that he won't accept nor admit Merryweather be a member of the Hargraves' unless Cain obeys his order. At last, Cain gives way <after driving his uncle nuts>. Before leaving, Uncle Neel saw the unusal young butler, Lief's wrist long scar.

Cain is now haivng a hair cut <who's his hair stylist? You bet ^_^> He tells Merryweather the backgorund of his fiance, Emerain Bell - same age as him <17>, together with her 3 years senior brother, Gilford Bell, they played with little Cain always. However, Emerain's face was always hidden beneath her hands. Never played with them, watching her edler brother and Cain played instead.

In The Bell's House:

Cain cannot but viisit Emerain Bell. Emerain is now the beautiful Lady Emerain - long, shinning black hair which suits her well-fined face with proud much. Guests and hosts greet to each other. Emerain's admirer, Oscar - a tall, well-build son of baron, is also in the house. Oscar finds that Merryweather looks like his dead fiance.

Obviously, Lady Emerain loves Cain very much. And yet, Cain's attitude updest her. She reminds Cain what he once had said to him "You ------ You said I was a pig!" Cain wonders what had happened, "What ...... I said ... . that....."

On the other side, Merryweather is checking the big house and she walks into a basement. "It's so boring," says someone. A hand puppet greets Merryweather and tells him he is locked in this basement. Can he only be saved without a Princess' kiss.

In the dinning room, Cain wonders where his childhood playmate, Gilford <i.e. Lady Emerain's elder brother> is. At last, the cover up is nveiled. Emrain tells Cain that her elder brohter becomes crazy after he saw 'Jack the Ripper'. He now can't remember anyone, anything. He acts like a child and can only write a few letters such as C, U, 2, 3, 6, etc. The family therefore has to lock Gilford up - for the sake of the family's dignity , noble dignity. Merryweather suggests to the Bell family that she is willing to offer her hand, she hopes she can open Gilfrod's heart and cure him.

Night time, a ball is held. A palm reader, the witch Maridiana is waiting. Cain finds that the palm reader looks like a doll, looks like a beautiful zombie . . . . . . Maridiana reads Cain's palm. She saw a little bloody red ram, a heart with black past and future, a black maze . . . At last, a tall guy with long, silver hair shows up and signals Maridiana to leave. . . The silver hair guy is . . .

On a narrow path:
Jack the Ripper appearas again . . . a hooker is killed . Gilford escaped from his cell and saw Jack. Luckly, Gilford is found by his care taker, a chambermaid. He tells the chambermaid, "Lisa, I saw the little red ream." Lisa replies, "Oh! Relaly? That's great."

The other day:
The surgeon applicant is finally hired. His mother is glad for him.

Emerain is worry about Cain. Cain is thinking of that palm reader whom he met last night. Gilford gave a drawing to Merryweather - a drawing of a long coat man whose face is covered by a big butterfly. He holds a knife and kills a lamb. Gilford named his drawing as RED RAM <note: the words are written reversely >. At night time, poor Gilford is beaten by a servant. Lisa comforts him. All these are seen by a youth. This youth is the right hand man of Dr. Jezebel. He once worked in circus and now is a member of DELIAH - in the thrid layer/posiotn.

Dr. Jezebel killed a guy to feed his tool - Maridiana.

In the Hargreaves' House:
Lief reports to Uncel Neel that Cain and his fiance will soon back. Uncel Neel tells Lief that he knew his mysterious past and asks him which hand of his hurt himself. At the same time, Cain arrived and heard Uncle Neel said Lief tried to kill himself several times but was saved everytime.

Cain comforts Lief and tells him he won't ask about his past. Cain also says he won't forgive his uncel. Lief tells Cain not to angry because his uncle does care and love him much. Ain slightly touches Lief's scared wrist and says, "From the past. . . whenever things happened, I ran to you for protection . . . Dont' know when can I stop hiding myself here. Only you . . . can dry up my tears, stop my crying. After that event, I have never cried again. As long as I have you be my side, I feel like I am back to normal, like the past . . . " Lief, "There's nothing wrong to cry.. ." Suddenly, this warm atmosphere in the air is awakened by Merryweather's yelling: "Elder Brother, what are you doing?" Merryweather brought Lady Emerain and Oscar to the dinning room. Tall Oscar is surprised that someone is even taller than him! He feels uneasy. They are now talking about the palm reader. It is found that those guys whom had met Maridiana are all missing .. .

Somewhere, somone is there calculating:
A wicked, clever man is smoking his favortie pipe. He talks to his adopted son "Stupid kid, Jezebel. it's useless and meaningless to love me." Jezebel, "Yes. . . I have talked too much . . . !" "Wait, Jezebel ! Why you rejected to be the frist layer/position ?" Jezebel answers, "Nothing. I'ts just that I like being . . . the second layer! Kindness, Foolishness, Wickedness, Uglyness, Dirt . . . . . just like me, a poor lonely guy. I like a lot, like ------- killing and being killed. . . The hurt beneaths my eyes is embedded by your real son, Cain . . . Never be disappeared. . . With this hurt, I feel ashamed on his insult and my immaturity. This is the seal ------ which makes me hate him more and more. Excuse me, father !"

A woman enters <she is Goddess of Justic from DELIAH>. She is talking to Alexial. Alesxial says, "He once was a tender, kind-hearted kid who dared not kill a bug. Loved animals, flowers, anything. . . Feel more hurt when people get hurt. . . That's the kind of kid he used to be. That's why I like him . . . All are good kids, grew up according to my ways of thinking. My children . . . HA HA HA HA . " The woman feels a chilling air around . . .

Night time:
Oscar brings Cain to Maridiana's . Dr. Jezebel is there too. He tries to point a gun to Cain and kills him. Maridiana saves Cain. Later, Maridiana found Cain and talks to him. Cain is attracted by her and kisses her. On the other side, Emerain is looking for Cain. She saw they are kissing. She is angry and gives a slap to Maridiana. Cain wants to visit Maridiana. Emerain found that and says she wants to go too "Even you hate me, I am still your fiance. Let's go !!"

Cain and Emerain goes to Maridiana's home. To their surprise, Maridiana's mother tells them that her daughter is dead because of accident. . . .

Back to Emerain's house:
Cain is thinking of Maridiana, figuring out why Maridiana's mother said her daughter was dead. Emerain reminds Cain it is she herself, the fiance of Cain. She is both upset and angry, kind of don't know what to do. "Think about that. Think about 7 years ago! You have the very responsibility to protect my felicity! It's you who messed up my life ! "

Emerain tells her lonley, poor childhood life to Merryweahter. It is the first time Merryweather dissovered the wiecked, evil side of 'innocent' Gilford. Emerain recalls what her parents and brother said "Emerain is so useless, so passive and look so ordinary. She's totally different from Gilford. But, she is still a bit useful if she can marry to a powerful family." Young Gilford replies, "But, this would upset the partner. For this face ---- even I feel so embarrasing !" Emerain tells Merryweahter how she envys her, having a good elder brother.

Later that day:
Cain tries to find out the truth. He decided to dig out Maridiana's grave. Lief discovcred that and goes with his master. Emerain also discovered that and she follows them. On her way, unluckily, she is followed by a man , the ripper ! ! ! !

Emerian recalls: "No . I can't die! I stil have important thinig to do . . . I still haven't told him . ..!" She recalls the day she met little Cain At that time, I couldn't sleep on that night when I first met him. But, his eyes didn't have me. And so, I must become a beautiful woman to make him notice me . . . Because of his, I did my best. . . !" Emerain will soon die. . . She remembers ". . . . . . Oh yes! The game which Gilford and Cain used to play . . . ! Those words written by Gilford. . ! Yes! And for that butterfly. . . Gilford did see the RED RAM. . . ! NO ! I still haven't told him that important word. . ...", in her last breathe "Till the end . . . I am still so foolish. . . So . ........"

On the other side , Lief and Cain are digging Maridian's coffin out:
Just when they tried to open the coffin, a hand touches Cain's shoulder ~~~ WAH ~~~~ Both Cain and Lief are in shock! It's Oscar . . . The body laid inside the coffin is named Maridiana. Cain wonders why there are two Maridiana. Oscar is mad about Cain. He says, "What does this look like ... You already have a beautiful fiance, and . . . "

Back to Emerain's House:
Cain found that Emerain is missing. Merryweather is worry and she checks her tarot card. The card being chosen by Merryweather is the Dead Hanging Man ---------

They found Emerain's body

Oscar told Cain that he knew Emerain loves Cain very much. He is angry about Cain's cold shoulder to Emerain. "It's you who killed her." Obviously, Oscar once experienced a hardship ... He lost his fiance as well.

Uncel Neel asks Lief take a good care of Cain. Cain finally discovered there exists someone who deos care and love him. He regrets that he realized that too late.

In Emerain's Funeral:
Looking at Emerain's body, Cain murmus: "Emerain. . . You are so beautiful, shinning bright as usual. More beautiful than Maridiana. . . If, to stay with you, woule be in felicity. . . Would probably have words (argument) everyday? . . . But, it's happy too! Because, from an unknown moment, you loved me so hard. And I felt so uneasy and so I tried avoiding you . . . But, I escapte no more! If I am your prince, please, I am begging you! Please open your eyes as usual, and yell at me! My princess of bramble!" He gives a farewell kiss to Emerain. It seems that Cain hears what Emerain replies, "What? What prince?! You fool, Cain! It's such a lousy line! I hate you so! Hate you so . . . "

In Emerian's House:
Cain apologizes to Emerain's parents and asks them to punish him. Surprisingly, Emerain's parents are not sad for their lost daughter. On the contrary, they propose to Cain that Gilford marries Merryweather. Cain is angry for that. He feels sorry for Emerain. He tries to recall what happened 7 years ago, what he had said to Emerain. . . "Was there anything I hate much. That I had to hid it deep in my heart? " Suddenly, the hand puppet apperas again, "RED RAM !" It's Gilfrod. Cain tells Gilfor that today is Emerain's funeral. Gilford replies, "Alleluia ! ! She is finally escaped ! Alleluia! 'RED RAM' is a magic cruse! You have forgotten that! Stupid guuy! Ha Ha Ha Ha" Gilford runs away . . .

In Dr. Jezebel's secret labortary:
Dr. Jezebel, "Congrutulation, Maridiana! You've lived one more day. Do you want to know, whose blood is it? It's Cain's fiance . . . Oh, no, it's ex-fiance --- Emerain's blood and internal organs . . . . Jack the Rippe said that woman couldn't live more . . . ."
