How Well Did You Know Earl Cain Solutions & More

Did you get full marks?! No? Never mind. Maybe after re-read and re-read 'EC' comics, you would become EC expert?! Here are the further illustrations and explanations of the previous 10 questions you just did.

1) Little Cain felt unease and nervous whenever people stared at his eyes - his pair of strange colour eyes. His eyes colours are golden green (like cat eyes) as a result of incest.

2)Actually, answers a to c are all wordings said by little Cain in different orders. Remember the first time little Cain and medical student Rief met in the Hargreaves' garden? Rief first arrived in the Hargreaves and kind of fooled around the big house garden at the night time. He then saw a crying little boy digging a grave for a dead bird. And so, their conversation started:

Rief (wonders): "Who are you? You . . . What are you doing here in such a night time?"
Little Cain (tries to dry his tears): "Birdy is dead and I have to build a grave for him."
Rief stars at Cain's special eyes and wonders the colours of the boy's eyes.
Little Cain: "What are you locking at? Are my eyes so strange?"hesitates a while and wonders, "You . . . You can see me?"

Earl Aliex (Cain's father) never allowed anyone speak nor even look at Cain (except a few servants and the private tutor), that's why little Cain asked if Rief could see him.

3) Merryweather's mother was once a chambermaid of the Hargreaves.

5 & 6 ) Rumours say that it was Rief himself who started the fire and killed his family. After the fire, Rief felt so desperate and so he tried to finish his life several times by cutting his right writs. Did you know that Rief is neither left handed nor right handed ?! Because he can use both hands!!! Smart!

Oscar, the son of a baron, 20 years old(appears in vol. 4 & 5 - The Chapter of Mark of the RED RAM). He once was Lady Emily's admirer. He also likes Merryweather who looks so alike as her dead fiance. He even told Cain that he is going to marry Marryweather =^_^=. He is well-built and tall . . . but . . . not as tall as Rief. I first thought that he is the tallest one among the 4 (Cain, Dr. Jezebel, Rief and Oscar) and then, one of the EC fans told me I was wrong.. heeeee. So, here is the amendement. Oh, by the by, I also mixed up Orlando and Oscar. Orlando is another minor character appears in one of the Earl Cain stories. The picture tells how TALL Rief is ^_*.

9) It seems that Ms. Kaori Yuki is kind of obsessed with 'forbidden love' (esp. brother & sister)?! Up till now, 3 pairs of forbidden lovers are mentioned in 'EC' as follows:
- Aliex & his elder sister Christine (Cain's mother)
- elder sister & younger brother in 'Kafka'
- Rukia & Emiru in 'Butterfly Bone'

10) Yes ! Can you believe this? 'Earl Cain' has been published over 10 years! But you see, due to 'Angel Sanctuary', Ms. Kaori Yuki had stopped 'EC' for a long, long time (over 5 years I guess?!). Was Angel Sanctuary finished could 'Earl Cain' back to our embrace. I guess you both adore 'Angel Sanctuary' and 'Earl Cain', don't you? But, some 'EC' fans are not so fond of reading 'AS' maybe it's because the style of 'AS' is quite different from 'EC'?!
