A Madame is reading a letter:

Just finished reading the sympathy consolatory letter, the Madame holds the letter angrily: "This . . . How could this be . . . What kind of consolatory letter it is. . . How could David bear this kind of consolatory letter? David is still sleeping soundly ! It's such a big joke!"

The chambermaid standing aside is threatened by her Madame's radical response.

= Door Bell Rings =

Madame: " What . . . A guest in such an early morning !?"

A tall man with black cloak and black hat walks in. His long nose, narrowed eyes and knitted eye brows, together with the long scar from his left eye to lower chin, makes the air cool and darkened.

The Man: "I'm from the undertaking. I come here for measuring your husband's body ."

Madame (in between scare and surprise, hand covers her mouth) eyes the tall man: "Ar !"

The undertaker ignores her and pushed her aside. He walks upstairs to David's room.

Madame: "What . . . What you have just said? My husband . . . is dead?! He is still sound sleeping in bed !" , follows the undertaker, "Wait . . . Wait! Stop! Who are you . . . Why you knew where my husband's room is ?"

= In David's Room =

A man is found dead - lying on the floor.

Madame (covers her face with two hands) wide eyes open: "DEAD. . . Really dead . . . ? ".

The undertaker says nothing but carries David's body. He is going to put David's body into a coffin which he prepared.

Madame: "You . . . To where you carrying him ..."

Undertaker (checks if the dead body fits in his prepared coffin) looks satisfactory: "It fits well."

Now, the undertaker is nailing the coffin.

Madame: "Wait . . . wait . . . What do you intend to do? Putting nails into the coffin?"

Just when he finished his job, the tall undertaker brought along the coffin and went away by his cab.

Madame (chasing the cab): "Stop! Stop!"

= In Hargreaves' House =

Cain is now giving a piano lesson to his loved sister He sits so straight.

Cain: "Lief!"

It seems teacher Cain is annoyed by someone . . . A not invited guest...

Cain (to Lief): "Throw this stupid macho man away from this house.", to the 'unwelcome' guest, "Oscar, you've interrupted my lesson!"

Oscar (tries to be funny): "Ho . . . Wait ... I haven't jumped into the topic yet !!"

Merryweather (begging tune): "Brother, that's enough. . . It's over, right? ... I don't think I can play piano well. . ."

Cain: "No way! Playing piano well is a criteria of a fair lady."

Merryweahter: "Brother, maybe you're a piano talent .. . But, how come you now act so strict !"

Cain: "Because, all the other piano teachers are surrendered under your mental tricks."

The brother and sister keep on persuading each other that they are too busy to notice Oscar's existence.

Oscar: "Excuse me. . . What I want to say is . . . ", seriously, "It happened that 3 people received a death warning letter, and later were put into coffins and be carried away . . . And the 3 had just had a drink with me a few days ago! That's to say, I would be the one got killed next !"

Cain <still pulling Oscar's legs?!>: "Oh. That worries me. It needs a specially designed coffin to fit your macho body in!"

Oscar: " . . . You are kidding, ain't you? Cain ! !" , he shows the death warning letter to Cain, "Look! I found this after back to the hotel this morning. A horrible card is assorted as well . . . " <It's a Tarot card --> a hand holding a sword . It's "ACE of Swords" It means 'element of male air - the mind and intellect, communicating, and conflict. The power of swords strengthened via wisdom and knowledge>

Cain: "This is . . . 'ACE of Swords'. It's the Minor Arcna card! Among the 22 cards from the Minor Arcana, the other cards are called Minor Arcana. Its said that Minor Arcana was the poker origins. This 'ACE of Swords' is the origin of spade."

Cain suddenly remembers that Merryweather was once eared her living by reading Tarot cards.

Merryweather (holds the 'ACE of Swords'): "The meaning of this card is . . . 'Victory won by forces' . . . . . . "Conquest' . . . For the reverse position, it means 'Disaster', 'Self destroy' . . . "

Cain figures out that someone is acting behind:
Isn't that . . . It's Tarot language. . . The story behind must be related to . . . the secret society 'DELIAH' ?! In order to make me suffer, he tried to kill Uncle Neil ! ! I won't let you try more ! !

Merryweather (to Oscar): "It probably must be a joke! To see if it's really a joke, we have to see if you would have been killed in the hotel! So, go back now !"

Oscar (wants to cry): "Merry . . . Your cruel attitude is jut what I adore."

Cain: "Lief . . . ", gives the letter and card to Lief, "Go to investigate this. If it's a necessary, inform the Police."

Lief: "Yes Master."

Still, Cain ignores his 'guest' existence .

Oscar: "Er? Hey ! Cain . . . "

Cain: "Merryweather, Oscar saved you. You now can learn by yourself."

Merryweather: "Okay! I will stay at home obediently and you have to take care !"

Oscar (don't know what to do.. being ignored by the brother and sister for so long): "Hey....... Cain . . . "

Cain (ready to take action): "What's it, Oscar? I'm now going to help you find out the identity of that 'Coffin Man' ! "
