Before, when I was still a child who cries easily, I often fled to the garden in the castle and hid myself. When that happened, he'd always came and found me....

While lifting his foot for Lief to tie his shoelaces, Cain thought to himself, remebering how he had asked Lief when he always seemed to be able to find where he was hiding.

"How? How do you always know where I am, Lief?"
Lief just asked him back, " Why would you think that I wouldn't know? "

As Lief was about to finish with Cain's shoelace he added, " Please remember to return by the time the dinner party with your relatives begins tonight."

- Cain wonders why everytime he hid himself, Rief could find him
And Rief asks back why Cain doesn't know why -

Cain just got up and fetched his coat, face looking grumpy, "You don't have to say it so many times, I will just play up to that bunch of noisy hyena, okay?"

Lief didn't say anything and just watched his young master leave.

Once at the pub, Cain felt that afterall, though he told Lief that he will go to the dinner party, he doesn't really feel like going. Then suddenly a girl's voice called out to him, " Hey, don't put on such a stormy face... why don't you accompany me? It's dangerous for me to walk outside alone in such nice clothes!"

The girl had a young face underneath her heavy makeup. She carries an atmosphere like that of a high class whore yet she is wearing a very expensive dress and speaks without an accent. The girl greeted Cain cheerfully, " I am Eliza! Nice to meet you, handsome."

Cain then followed the girl out of the pub, both agreeing to the rule that they would not ask questions about each other. "It's okay with me... there's no one who worries about me anyway... ! " Eliza assured Cain as they walked along the street. They then came upon something lying on the ground. "Hn?.. Hey..is this person dead!?" Eliza screamed as she realised that the object lying on the side of the street was a man.

Cain walked up to te corpse to inspect it with Eliza screaming out " What are you doing?"

In the background, there was a small in front of the man's chest, blood that came from the wound stained the man's suit.

" It looks like he's been killed by a gun but... this is not a usual bullet wound ... what sort of bullets have such a small calibre? " Then Cain also noticed something else strange about this body. There is a marking on the palm of the man that looked like a lion.

Eliza bent down behind Cain, covering her mouth " This is frightening! You really can stare at a corpse without feeling anything!"

"Hn?" Eliza stared in suprise as she finally recognised the dead man. " Co.. Collin!!?"

" !? You know him!?"

" ... I don't know him 'very' well, he's just my fiancee."
