Uncle Resando, worries about something;
Rukia, a mixed British Japanese girl controlled by an evil spirit;
Emiru, obsesses with odd and mysterious things;
Madame Abigail, Emiru's mother as well as Rukia's stepmother;
AND ,
and the mysterious spiritualist, Kurihadonru .

To drive the evil spirit out of Rukia's, a mysterious guy named Kurihadouru called for a spiritualism. And yet, Madame Abigail was killed by . . . by Rukia, OR by Rukia's dead mother, Toko . . . OR, by this mysterious spiritualist ?

- Cain tries to read the 4 strange family
He also figures the background of that spiritualist, Kurihadonru -

Cain is still walking in the Garden and the spiritualist Kurihadouru is standing in the balcony, watching Cain :

Kurihadouru: "I see . . . So, your point is, I am a fake spiritualist."

Cain (shows a piece of piano string): "During the spirits calling, this piece of piano string ---------- was tied onto the lamp above the table. And, that's the key to the spiritual effect, wasn't that?"

- Table and furniture were shaking and making strange noises -

Cain continues with his eagle eye: "And, to think twice-------as long as the weather situation was known, it's an ease to cast a spirit, isn't it? And yet, if one emphasized too much on the performance, things like thunder was then out of one's estimation. And so, the hidden trick would be exposed . . . Wasn't that ? Or, is it better to say that you led the evil spirit controlled Rukia's . . . "

Kurihadouru listens to Cain's conjecture without any reply < he is calculating>

- Cain shows that he already knew the spiritualist's trick -

Cain: "Rukia becomes more and more beautiful. Her black Madagascan like eyes inherited from her mother attract people naturally like a magnet . . . Just looking at her, I understand why Uncle Resando was so eager to marry her mother, Madame Toko; and his comfort gained from Rukia . . .Evil spirit lives inside Rukia . . . BUT, supposing you were a fake spiritualists, it might be possible that you had hypnotized , or given her some signals. So, in the spirit call, you killed Madame Abigail and unlocked Rukia's hypnosis . . And so, a ridiculous supernatural magic show could be done, right?"

Kurihadouru finally says something (he gives a cold smile): "Oh . . . " suddenly swings his right hand and points to Cain's direction.

All of a sudden and out of the blue, it just like that Kurihadouru's right hand is covering Cain's whole face <it's just an illusion because it's impossible for Kurihadouru to touch Cain's face in such a long distance>. And then, those bitter memories of little Cain rushing into Cain's minds:

•Father, Aleix holds a whip tight and is ready to give little Cain a lesson;

• Mother tries to kill him with a sickle;
<actually, not really his real mother, but stepmother. Little Cain didn't know the truth, however>

• Auntie Christine jumps down from the asylum window in front of him
<Christine is Cain's real mother; she is also Aleix's blood elder sister>

• Father is going to 'commit suicide' and cruises him, etc. etc.

 

- All those bitter memories of little Cain show up -

Aleix (with his whip and cry aloud):
"You will die lonely without anyone's care nor love!
Cain is the name of the first murderer of the mankind !
Cain !"

Cain: "No! Away! Go Away!" he pushes away Kurihadouru's imaginative hand and all the illusions flash away.

Cain (sweats drop from his forehead) thinks:
What was going on ------- that kind of feeling ---- ! !

Kurihadouru (crossing his arms and watching Cain in sweat): "Performance is always a performance. Because reality can't been seen by naked eyes, I have to make it more easier to be seen! How rude I am, dressing like that, Earl ! Please continue your detective game!!"

Kurihadouru's joking attitude challenges Cain.

Cain (fights back): "If that was 'true', it's such a native trick! Ever thought about learning more tricks from magicians?"

Kurihadouru walks back to his room from the balcony and ended the challenging conversation

In Kurihadoru's room, someone is sitting there, smoking his pipe and waiting him.

The Man: "You still hate nobles, Kurihadoru! You are what you are !"

Kurihadoru: "Oh, what a surprise! Never thought that you had come here, Master."

The Man (replies in a good mood): "It seems that even Cain is frightened by your power!"

Kurihadouru crossed his arms in front of his chest and says: "It's not a spirit read, but a peek inside his abyss.. . Your existence is such a great power to him . . . "

The Man: "Anyway, I just want to watch this time. So, please take care of him! "

Kurihadouru: " . . . It's very nice for you to say so, Master."

The Man (walks away and keeps on saying): "He is such a crying baby! So, don't bully him much. Because it's my fun to do so."

- The Master tells Kurihadonru not to bully Cain much -

- clark --- the door is closed silently -
