Rukai (worries, tries her best to comfort her father): "Father, be brave!"

Cain checks the thing on the floor. It's a Japanese hair pin. He stares at the hair pin and thinks: This is . . . So. . . this is your real motive . . . !? Emiru !!

= In the Dinning Room =

Merryweather was awaken by the noises. She holds a candle and checks around. She saw Emiru opens the window and tries to escape. . .

Merryweather: "Emiru? What're you doing!? It's dangerous!"

Emiru (talking and climbing to the roof top): "You big mouth! Don't come close, woman !"

Merrywather (angry and follows Emiru to the roof): "Why not! I used to climb onto the roof top and play!"

Cain (finally arrived and was shocked when seeing his sister and Emiru are on the roof top): "Emiru !", worried about the two children and so climbed out to roof top as well, "You two . . . Come here!"

Emiru suddenly hold Merryweahter's shoulder and says, " You come any further and this girl maybe fallen down too?"

Merryweather (don't know what's going on): "Emiru . . . !?"

Emiru: "You . . . You knew it was me . . . Why . . . "

Cain: "Being obsessed by poison, I can understand that . . The poison Akonichin which killed Madame Abigail . . The criminal stole it from her . . . But, before the death of Madame Abigail, a Spirit Call was called. So, it's impossible to make her take that poison. And so, how did the poison leak into her body? After her death, I saw that her right hand colour was changed. . . That's right . . . That kind of poison can be absorbed by skin. . . Since the rule of the Spirit Call is [Never Let The Hands Off], that meant all participants must hold hands together . . . Suppose the hand who held Madame Abigail's hand got poisoned. . . "

- Cain follows Emiru to the roof top.
He explains why he knew Emiru was the real murderer -

Rukia chased Emiru and she finally found her younger brother. She also heard what Cain just explained. . .

Rukia (don't believe what Cain's said): "Wait . . . Wait ! But, if it was true, the hand got poisoned would also be dead. . . "

Cain (takes out a piece of cloth with some ashes inside): "This is the left over ashes of a mental thing thrown into the oven that night. Haven't you seen the other wing of the butterfly?"

Rukai (iris expand and it seems that she just realized something): "Ar. . . !"

Cain: "Yes . . . To prevent poison leaked into his skin, the criminal wore special gloves and he used the part of glove with poison to hold Madame Abigail's hand . This is the remain part of the burnt poisoned glove. Look carefully and it's not difficult to find that this tiny metal is in fact a part of the zip-fastener on the glove. Emiru stands still and listens what Cain's said.

Merryweather looks back and see Emiru is emotionless. She also see that Emiru's right glove zipper has a butterfly wing pattern.

Rukia: "Why . . . Emiru . . . ? "

Cain (shows the Japanese hair pin to Emiru): "It's because of this, right?"
