Between August to November, 1888, the Eastern ghetto areas of London, 5 (or even more and more, but not discovered or known) poor women (prostitutes) were murdered respectively. Some of the victim bodies were cut cruelly that their internal organs were leaked. No marks nor clues was left in the crime scenes. The ripper escaped in a flash. He even sent a challenging letter to the Police signed himself as "Jack".
Why that Jack could do anatomy so well? Was he a surgeon?! However, in the late 19th century Victorian society, only the rich could approach anatomy. Was that Jack from the upper-class?! But, what made a rich man wandered in the ghetto area at night?! Lots of questions are still not tackled and that women hunter was never captured. Only he himself knew who Jack the Ripper was. . .
This mysterious unsolved crime not leads to an obsession, scholarly investigation, but novels, movies are also made as well. Unlike the reality, the case of Jack the Ripper is cleared in "Mark of the RED DAM". "Jack" is a 24 years old, left-handed single man who specializes in anatomy. When the Police found him, he was holding a blood dripped knife speechlessly. Under insane condition, could he defense himself. In his basement, news clippings about Jack the Ripper and some strange documents were found. A few days later, his mother's body was found in the bathroom.
It is proclaimed that Jack the Ripper fell in love with his medical male colleague, who is his childhood playmate, and was then got a laid off from the hospital. His Oedipus complex is a great force for his outrageous towards women. But, is that crazy surgeon really the Jack the Ripper in "Earl Cain" series?!
