- Dr. Jezebel and Merryweather disappeared from Dolly's room -
Cain (look from the window) "The cart ! It runs so quickly in the fogs. Got to catch it!"
Dolly's father broke down when he saw what had happened on his daughter, Dolly.

Cain looks around and he found that 'Beauty Medicine Jar' and a membership card.
Cain thinks: This is the medicine . . . !? The membership card with the address printed. He gives the membership card to a chambermaid next to her, "You ! ! Give this to the Butler of The Hargareve."
The chambermaid: "Yes. . . yes !?"
Cain (in hurry and serious): "I will catch you, Doctor !!"

Dora is still wearing that mask - the mask with emotionless eyes, a long, exposed tongue and a pair of erect ears.
Dora (looks at the full moon): "Such a beautiful moon . . . today.. like that day.. "
Merryweather is locked in a hanging cage. She is weak and look downwards to Dora. Below Merryweather's cage is a pool of Akerimeas's Spring.
Dora (opens her arms): "You, you child didn't drink the medicine <or drank? got to study the Japanese... will correct it later, sorry >. In the next full moon, I will take them out and the surgeon will be done. . .", she continous, "This medicine from 'Akerimeas's Spring' , those whose drink it will turn beautiful. The woman's face is shown. Her face is decaying....
The woman (in pain): "Face . . . Face . . . It is burning . . It's very hot !! Eyes... my eyes.. ! ! I will give anything to have the medicine, Doctor --- !!"
Riff : The face.... !!
A youth comes in ..
The youth: "So, this is it!", he told the woman, "The doctor is there . . "
Just when the woman turned away, the yough killed her.

Riff feels so dissgusting when he saw the youth took the woman's eyes out . . .
Riff thinks: That youth... It seems he looks familar. . . I once saw him with the Doctor! <again, for the details, plz read vol. 3 'The Chapter of Kafka' - That youth in fact is an adult. He got a disease that he can't grow up. Dr. Jezebel promised to help him. He also hires him as his assistance.>
The youth (holding a jar of eyes and running away) :"Must be hurry. . . "
