About the Mad
Tea Party &
the
Queen
of Heart
'The
March Hare' and 'The Hatter' make a two-against-one team , like parents at the
dinner table. They criticize
Alice's manners and grooming, and they quiz her pointlessly. The two have conservation
that make sense between them but are unintelligible to Alice, who
puzzles over a remark that 'seemed to her to have no sort of meaning
in it, even the conversation is in her language.' The tea party passes in a
blur of patronizing rudeness and bizarre conversation. Until Alice gives up
on siting politely in a social situation that excludes he. She therefore gets
up and walks away at last. ![]()

The Queen is so extreme and outrageous, and her authority over Alice is so questionable that Alice is able to face this oversized hot-air balloon and burst it by firmly yelling "Nonsense!" to the overbearing monarch! The Queen of Hearts can be more frightening than foolish. Constantly bellowing and enraged. She orders executions at any provocation. She has no other personality beyond her anger. Her only talent is ordering ' Off with its Head' is there any Queen of Hearts near you?! God Luck then !!!
