Someone tells little Cain:
" The Lord asks Cain, "Why you hide your face?"

A man with glasses <he is Aliex> said cruelly, "Keep on going, Cain."

Aleix whips little Cain's back heavily.

- Whip ~~~ Whip ~~~~-

"Your brother's blood calls to me from the ground . . . "

Little Cain is in pain but he tries his best not to cry aloud.

No longer will it yield crops for you, even if you toil on it forever!

- Aliex whips little Cain heavily &
tells the Bible story to little Cain at the same time -

Cain, the children of Adam and Eve.
God only accepts Abel's offering, but not Cain's.
This made Cain too jealously to kill his brother.

And so,
Cain is banished from the farm and from the Lord.

God said that the first murderer of mankind is Cain.
He also said for those who try to kill Cain will receive 7 times punishment.

Then the Lord put an 'identifying mark' on Cain as a warning not to kill him . .

Yes. . . yes . . . even so.. .

Aleix straightens the whip hardy and said, "God is still loving Cain. Left the mark on him . . ."

Roses pedals filled with the air . . .

- Bang.. Bang.. -
A rocking sound of a cart rolling on some stones on road -

A close up of a waking face . . . it's Cain's

The cart wheels rolling minor stones on the road make a rocking sound which brought Cain back to reality from his nightmare. . .

Cain wakes up from his father's nightmare.

A big teddy bear faces Cain, "Brother, what's wrong? Nightmare?"

- Cain wakes up from nightmare.
Merryweather comforts Cain -

Merryweather holds a big teddy bear in her arms. She looks at Cain and worries about him.

Cain: "... It's okay, Merry!"

Cain and Merryweather are in a cart.
They are on their way to their relative's house.
And now, their cart is moving on a forest road.

Cain: "Maybe it's because of the moving cart . . . feel a bit dizzy . . . Where are we now?"

Cain tries to back to normal so as to lessen his sister's worry. We'll soon arrive the House! This forest is the property of Kuromoris <oops.. can't figure how to spell this word, sorry.. I named it like that, hope you don't mind ?! >. The Kuromoris is the relatives of the Earl of Hargarves. However, after 'that event' (what event?!) they avoid meeting us. But now, since we received their Invitation Card, it's not bad to leave the noisy city <London> for a while.

Merryweather (looks at her brother) wonders:
I see. . . This is it...

Merryweather recalls 'Scold's Bridle event' :
Brother wants me to leave London because of the kidnapped I faced last time. From then on, have I realized why brother doesn't want me to go out. . .
Not because of that event, but also the event that brother's fiance is killed . . . They are all related to that person . . . !
Before that, I guess that doctor is accustomed to threatening my brother . . .

Just when Merryweather is busy wondering, Cain notices his little sisiter is worrying, so he says, "Merry ?The House can be seen in this distance now . "

Merrywather (back to reality): "Ah, mmm ! "
