Lady Chatterley's Lover

This book is a poignant love story of Constance Reid and her love escapades set in the 20's in rural England and across the key cities of Western Europe. I've been told that this book was once banned and that it already crossed the line of vintage pornography. As I read through it, it really have some passages that some people would really find somewhat lewd but in my opinion, it is written in such a way that it would still be considered as art. 
Constance "Connie" Reid is married to a nobleman, Sir Clifford Chatterley, thus giving her the title "Lady Chatterley". Connie is inwardly a kind and sweet woman, but she is much in tune with her passion and is only understood when she swayed with her love from Clifford. Clifford Chatterley, on the other hand, is a crippled, intelligent, ex-soldier who came home from the war almost dying. He is a stubborn, noble, liberal and a perverted man-child in the latter end of the story.
Connie carried on with various affairs before she was married, and when this American artist named Michaelis came, they swing it on although it did not last. Connie then is in the middle of her process of self-discovery, she is thoroughly suffocated by Wragby and felt imprisoned aside from her blatant freedom. In order for her to escape this somewhat 'prison' she decided to take walks in the woods and then she came along the hut inhabited by the game keeper Oliver Mellors. Oliver Mellors is a mysterious, sensitive, and inwardly strong ex-soldier who came back to the lower class when he had already risen. Connie finds his hut really comfortable in his hut and asked him for a spare key. Mellors at first disagrees but he then acquisces. Connie at first thought Mellors an insensitive and crude man, but in the latter part of the story, she discovers that there is much more than the rough exterior and unbreakable wall that he built around himself.
