2 - Is the $300 security/reservation deposit refundable? Your deposit is refundable only after your stay and the property is returned to a clean rental state with no damage.
3 - What is the check in and check out process? Check in is after 4 pm on Sunday. If late arrival is needed, please make prior arrangements. Check out is before noon on Sunday. Please leave one key within the lock box and the other hanging in the cabin. Owner's agent will check out property and change the lock box combination. Your deposit will be sent to you in the mail; of course, you can also use it to reserve your week next year.
4 - What form of payment is accepted? Credit cards are not accepted; therefore, personal and cashier checks are accepted for the security/reservation deposit and rental up to 21 days prior to the check in date. If short notice payment is needed, please discuss options.
5 - Where do I put my boat? You can park in drive by the cabin. Public landing is the west about 1 mile to launch and several private protected harbors that charge a small fee to the east.. It is not recommended that you beach your boat or tie-up to the dock over night because of the rocks on the shoreline and the waves that could damage your boat and dock.
6 - Do you allow pets? Depending on breed and size with a fee of $25/pet (prior approval required). The quilt & blankets will be removed & you'll need to bring. This is assist others with allergies.
7 - What is your rental time frame? Rentals are accepted from April to October. No winter rental.
8 - Do you allow larger groups? Prior approval required & additional rates will apply and are based on a weekly rate. Each person beyond 8 is $35/pp.
9 - Do you offer discounts for longer stays? Yes if three weeks or more. Depending on availability.
10 - Do you provide firewood? You may bring your own, buy locally or purchase from me for $20/wk.
11 - Where do I put garbage? No garbage collection, so you need to take with you. During your stay, don't leave outside if not in container because of animals. A large plastic garbage can is in metal shed with lid & many guests put on deck or kitchen & then store full bags in shed & take at end of stay.
12 - Can I change my reservation? You may move your week to any available week that year if greater than 30 days before the checkin date. Please contact me directly via phone to make these changes.
