Eagle Vision >> Love According to what I've read and watched, Eagle could be in love with a certain red head, Hikaru Shido. Both interact often and Hikaru acts about the same towards Eagle as she does to Lantis. In the manga she proclaims that she loves Eagle�along with the rest of the Cephiro population. (--;;) Hikaru controls fire and wears the red Mashin, Rayearth (upper left shows Hikaru in full guard). She�s rather short, even for her age (14) and often thought of as a little girl by physical impression. Energetic and happy, Hikaru wants the best for everyone and for everyone to be happy. She has a large heart, in fact, the strongest out of anyone in the world of Cephiro. She loves her friends dearly and won�t give up when things become too hard. Shorty is also a bit na�ve when it comes to trickery and love. She�s deeply confused when Primera (Lantis�s fairy obsesser) accuses her of trying to steal Lantis or being rivals in love. She doesn�t understand that Lantis is practically saying �I love you!� in the final volume and goes on saying how she loves everyone. It took Hikaru quite a while to fully grasp that Fuu had tricked Ferio into being their bodyguard in the Forest of Silence. Although Hikaru doesn�t catch on quickly in the sense department; she�s too sweet to resist. That may be on of the reasons why Eagle may have a (small�very small) thing for her. Another person paired with Eagle (and could also be who Eagle loves from what I've read and watched. ^^;;) is Cal Lantis, the younger brother of Sol Zagato. Although many do not want to admit that two such cute men could be a couple, there is some evidence to put them together. Both are very conscious of each other�s feelings and Eagle constantly feeling guilty for going against Lantis. A reason for Eagle wanting to become the Pillar is so Lantis wont throw away his life. Of course, these scenes can swerve either way to friendship or hidden romance. Lantis is the only magical swordsman in Cephiro with enough power to damage Eagle�s FTO. He enjoys sleeping since he rarely had anything to do when he was the former Captain of the Guard. After learning the truth of Cephiro�s horror and the love between his brother and Princess Emeraude; Lantis left Cephiro. After visiting many different countries in his travels, he stayed at Autozam the most. It is there Eagle learned of Cephiro, the Pillar System, and the problems facing the country. Lantis returned to Cephiro once he felt the presence of the barrier surrounding it diminish. Lantis also befriended an eccentric fairy named Primera who insists that Lantis is hers and only she can heal his wounds. Obviously Lantis doesn�t care for Primera too much since he is often leaving her behind. Unfortunatly for Eagle, in the anime Hikaru and Lantis are in love. The acknowledged each other's affection in the VERY LAST EPISODE *screams* and were abruptly taken away from each other after fidning out. --;; Ah well, Eagle died in the anime anyway- he would have made his lover sad...in fact...he made *me* sad... ;_; These two could be very likely but we all know whom Eagle loves. He loves me. End of subject.
