Archers blood fix 8
This map is the most popular.  The map is divided into 8 pie shaped wedges with a tower at the far end. In the middle is a hill.  In this map you start with 41 archers.  Every 5 minutes you get 2 knights and 4 skirmishers. Every ten minutes you get a sabetour and a ram.  To upgrade your archers you must kill enemies.  The upgrades are:
100 kills = Ballistics and Cartography (now you can see what your allies can see)
200 kill= Crossbow
300 kills = Arabalests
400 kill = Chu Ko Nu
500 kills = Elite Chu Ko Nu
600 kill = Mangudai  (Now you get a onager and every ten minutes and a Heavy Scorpein every 2 minutes)
700 kills = Elite Mangudia
800 kills = Longbow
900 kill = Elite Longbow
1000 kills = Janissary
1100 kills = Elite Janissary
1200 kills = Robin Hood (Now you get bombardment cannons every 60 seconds)
1300 get = Jean de Lorrain (really good bombard cannons extra range and attack)
1500 kills =  Spies (now you can see all the map)

Hints and Strategies:
1.  SHOOT FROM THE HIGH GROUND:  Archers that shoot down get longer range and more attack points.   Also, archers shooting up lose range and attack.   Example:    An archer has 4 attack points, but when he is on a hill he has 5 attack and when he shoots from below, he has only 3 attack.   There is one big hill in the middle of the fix 8 map and however can get on top of the hill usually wins. There is also a hill in the mouth of each players area and a hill on which their tower sites.
2. HOW TO USE YOUR SPECIAL TROOPS:  Every five minutes you get 2 knights and 4 skirmishers.   Every ten minutes you get a ram and a sab.  You should always leave a few knights by your tower to protect it from battering rams.  A good idea is to deploy your knights in a large group in stead of piecemail.  Skirmisher are great archery killers.  They have attack bonuses against archers and have pierce armorr (armor that protects them from arrows).   A skirmisher can kill two archers without dying and a elite skirmisher can kill two crossbow men.   You can use them to strengthen your archer formation or save them and use them in a separate formation.   Every ten minutes you get a sab and a ram.  Rams are almost impervious to arrows and are used to destroy buildings.  You can also use them as targets to draw fire away from your archers or a sab.  When placed with your archers they are arrow magnets leaving your archers free  to kill the enemy.  Sabs are best used to destroy tightly packed enemy archers.  They explode destroying all enemy troops in a small circle around them.  They only kill enemy soldiers and will not hurt allies or your own troops.   Sabs are good for taking the hill in the center.  When using your sab, always attack first with your archers and then bring in the sab from the side.  By first attacking with your archers causes the enemy to fire at your archers and not the sab.  To defend against a sab attack, you can spread your archers out or, when you see a sab, have all your archers attack it, hopefuly killing it before it is close enough to hurt you.  A sab will still explode when it is killed.
