| Fest 2 maps can have up to 8 players. You start out with a monk, a sabetour, an archer, and 4 Kitabatakes. Archers are be created on both sides of your tower. Every 250 seconds you get a monk, scorpion, ram, and sab. Every 400 seconds you get 3 Genghis Klans and a watch tower. Upgrades are based on how many kills: 150 kills = Crossbow 300 kills = Feudal Age 400 kills = Arbalests 500 kills = Castle Age 700 kills = Chu Ko Nu 800 kills = Elite Chu Ko Nu 900 kills = Imperial Age 1000 kills = Longbow 1200 kills = Elite Longbow Some Maps also make Janissaries after Elite Longbow 1400 kills = Robin Hood RAZING GETS YOU STUFF!!! If you raze 2 buildings you get: 3 sabs and 2 elephants. THE MAP The center of the map is a pyramid hill that has a ditch around its base. In front of each player's gate is raised ground. The player's tower is located in a peninsular that radiates from the center. Each peninsula has a hill half way between the tower and the gate. Behind each tower is a small square of land. Hints and Strategies Your primary concern is to protect your tower. Your tower has only 1900 hit points and can be destroyed by 2 sabs, or 76 shots from Genghis Klans, or 11 hits from a battering ram, or 10 hits from a capped ram, Fest 2 Center Hill or 7 hits from a siege ram. When the game first starts, try to take the middle. By shooting downhill gives you attack bonuses and range bonuses. If the enemy takes the hill, do not go up the hill but go and attack his gate and make him come off the hill and attack you. Your Kitabatakes are great archery killers with their 350 hit points and 8 attack points. Use your monk to heal your kitabatakes and Genghis Khans and to convert enemy kitabatakes and Genghis Khans. If you are lucky you can also convert a sab, more often then not the sab blows the monk up before the sab can be converted. A monk is less important than a tower or gate. You can use your sabs to kill Fest 2 Tower and Gate archers or buildings. By using your sabs to kill enemy archery units you upgrade faster, but when you destroy 2 buildings (watchtower, gates, or towers {wall don't count} you get 3 extra sabs and 2 elephants. To keep your enemies from getting the 2 razings, delete your gate or watchtower before it is destroyed. When your reinforcements arive move them so when the next reinforcements come they can get in. Genghis Khans should be made into a separate group that is sent out to attack and brought back in to be healed by your monks. When you are not attacking with them put them in front of your tower to protect it. Scorpions are great archery killers and should be used as soon as you get them. Battering rams can be used in piece mail to attack gates and watchtower but should be hoarded untill 2 to 5 rams are acumulated before you try and attack the enemy's tower.. When you are planning to attack your enemy's tower save your sabs untill your have at least one more then is needed to destroy the tower. If the tower is unhurt, save 3 or more, if the tower is half dead, save 2 or more. When you attack the enemy's tower first send in your rams and archers, the enemy will concentrate his fire on the rams and after the enemy is firing at the rams and your archers sent in the sabs to attack the tower. You can also sent your Genghis Khans to attack the tower. When you are playing with less then 8 players, send scouts out to the empty peninsulas to look for unprotected sabs and rams. Many players store there sabs and rams in an empty peninsula, so when you attack them they send in their rams and sabs to destroy your unprotected tower. If your gate is down, protect your tower with enough archers to kill multiple sabs before they reach your tower. Good Luck, Have Fun!! |
