First peoples Music
'The drum, rattle and magical flute'
Leonard brings his authentic hide drum along with traditioanl rattles and his cedar flute.. Songs are shared with students along with the history of our first peoples music. A question and answer period gives the students a chance to learn more about this fascinating music.
Program lenth - 40 minutes

The Medicine Wheel
'A profound tool for balanced life'
The Medicine Wheel is a powerful metifor for the totality of life. All aspects of creation and consciousness, inclusive of the mineral, plant, animal, human and spirit realms, are contained within the center of the medicine wheel. They overlap and interweave to form the whole. It is in the center of the medicine wheel wheel that we find the void, sacred zero, the chaos at the souce of creation, containing all possibilities. Each of the elements-air. fire, water and earth - is guided and molded by the sacred life force energy contained within the void. Students can discover the law of cause and effect and balancing ones own life according to the model of this ancient teaching.
