Freedom for and from Who?

Freedom is a right promised to us
What is this freedom from-
Invasion by the Other people
Siblings- lies- politicians
All of the above
Perhaps none of the above
The fact of Freedom has its basis
From a mobile military-
Worlds may threaten our Freedom
And we stand up for it
Do we extend this freedom
On the people we kill or maim-
Because it is they that have threatened
This freedom promised to us
We will not extend the freedom threatened-
Who promised this freedom
Thomas Jefferson- slave owner
Or God- soul owner
Thomas Jefferson, an American
Gave us this freedom in writing-
Why should we extend it to the World
A few claim Divine Freedom
And everyone can participate-
This is God-given
Only if you are American
So it was decreed on the Hill
Upon High where He is told his speech

 actions and general mandates of foreign policy)
