Stone Park Fire Fighters are my pride and joy. Wonderful, beautiful, angels of Mercy, Gods gift to me. They have taken so many extra miles for me and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for each one of those extra miles that they have taken. Each one of those extra miles are precious to me and will always be remembered. They serve their community with pride, dignity and honor. To them it's only doing their job, but to me it's more than doing their job. Thank you Stone Park Fire Fighters for serving your community and doing more than just your job. Love you always, Peggy

Sharing special moments is always a joy to me and special moments should be shared with others. The special moments that I spent with these wonderful fire fighters will never be forgotten. I remember when times weren't always good with Stone Park fire fighters. Under the old leader ship, our department wasn't what it was supposed to be. One fire fighter from the old administration was good one. Brian Lewis. He was in charge the day I lost my temper with one of the other fire fighters. Brian a true fire fighter, handled the situation like a pro and things got straightened out. Under the new leadership of the village, Brian was named Fire Chief. I was so happy because I knew Brain was a good choice. Brain named John Cummins as assistant Fire Chief and when Brain moved on to better things in his life, John Cummins was named as our new Fire Chief. I felt so relieved because I knew we were in good hands. What can I say about Fire Chief Cummins that he don't already know. He's a good guy with excellent leadership qualities. In my opionion, Brain Lewis and John Cummins have brought our department from the worst rated to the best rated department. Stone Park Fire Department has come a long ways and is still growing strong. Besides his leadership qualities, he takes the time to share a joke, a smile and is always willing to do what he can to take the extra mile. The picture above he allowed me to take and allowed me to submitt it to the publisher for the back cover of my new book that's coming out soon. A memory that won't be forgotten. Chief Cummins, your a God send. We appreciate you. |
