RIPDAL

Dal Died in a worthy cause trying to defeat the chosen. Dal left the group to check things out and was chased by the chosen. He ran to the balcony and stopped to warn Amber and Bray that Trudy's kidnap was an ambush. Dal was cornered by the chosen then tried to escape by climbing over the railing but fell, Amber found him barely alive, she was hysterical, he muttered a few words then died in her arms. We will never forget Dal.

Bray's speech at the funeral:
"We're here today to remember Dal, a person who fought for what he believed in. Dal dreamt of a world where everyone could own a piece of the land and live in harmony with one another, he never saw that dream come true, and maybe neither will we, but those of us who have pledged to go on, will do so in his name. Dal, you were more than a friend...you were an inspiration."

Before the virus Dal and Amber were neighbours, they went to the same school. Dal and Amber were always good friends despite the fact that Dal was a bit younger. Back then Dal wanted to be a doctor, like his parents. The virus cured him of that, seeing so many people around you die and there's no medicine to help. Dal and Amber left their homes, where they grew up had now become a waste land with the odd kid roaming around. They headed for the countryside to find a nice farm. As they trekked through the city they rescued Cloe from the locos. Dal wanted to continue to the countryside, Amber wanted to help Cloe, Dal agreed and they ended up in the mall where they decided to form a tribe. Dal's closest friend was Amber. Dal and Jack got on very well and made inventions together. Dal was always the voice of reason, he saved Trudy after she got an infection after giving birth to Brady. Dal really cared about everyone and had no hatred or grudges against people. He was very affected by Amber's death and we can certainly credit him for keeping her memory alive and reminding people what Amber would've done in a tricky situation, as I'm sure Amber will do in the future for Dal. Dal was so happy to find Amber alive and the two picked up where they left off straight away. Amber was heartbroken at Dal's death and wouldn't speak for a while, she's now gone to rally an army to defeat the chosen in revenge for Dal, the best friend she loved and cared for so much.
