Why did you decide to get into acting? I was always interested in theatre and movies and stuff. I kind of fell into it through dancing and singing though. How old were you? I did stage appearances with the Royal NZ Ballet when I was 6 but my first professional debut was Young Entertainers when I was 13. If you could do anything in the world what would you do? I`d love to travel everywhere and totally wipe out hatred and unhappiness. What do you think are the properties of a good actor? I think the ability to play another character with complete sincerity and credibility is important. Someone who can not only act but react to situations.
What is it like to play Tai San? Its quite tricky simply because she is so enigmatic. I have to somehow convey an emotion to the audience without showing it on my face. That is really hard to do!! Do you think you are anything like Tai San? Yeah.. actually we have some surprisingly similar traits. I`m very much into the incense and candles and spirituality interests me heaps. But I`m no way near as hard out as she is. I dont quote wacky sayings like she does!!!:) What has been your hardest scene to film on the Tribe? The scenes in Series 2 where Tai-san has an emotional breakdown concerning Lex was a real challenge. I got to experiment with showing a different side of Tai-san. It was actually quite draining (but fun!)

What has it been like kissing Lex? Umm.. It`s just like kissing anyone else except there is no real emotion behind it. That makes it feel like an acted sort of kiss. But its like that anyhow as it is all choreographed and rehearsed. Plus, Caleb is like a best friend so its weird!! All part of the job eh! What is your favourite episode so far? I dont really have a favourite cos they all have so much in them. I definitely prefer the action-packed episodes though!

Do you have any input into the scripts or scenes? Not so much scripts but you can add your touch to scenes by chatting to the director and brainstorming ideas. They are good like that. Also, you can interpret the lines in your own way so that may add individuality to a scene. We hear you are a singer/dancer as well as an actor, is this true? Yup!! I love dancing and singing. It fully dominated my life before acting came into the picture but there`s nothing stopping me to go out and groove on to some funky music!! What kind of music do you like to listen to? Absolutely anything from pop to punk to alternative to house and hiphop. I`m pretty easy to please except I don`t like hard out metal stuff!!
Do you ever get recognized? Uhh yeah. And usually its always at an unco time like when your out shopping or grabbing a burger!! Sometimes its for the Tribe but other times it is cos of young Entertainers (even though that was a show on 2 years ago!!) What are you doing while you arent filming? Getting back to normal life!! And chilling. I normally catch up with mates, go for some retail therapy, and party hard!!

When is your birthday? 17 October What is the weirdest piece of fanmail youve received? It wasnt weird.. it was just unusual. Umm.. it was this white witch who wrote to me with support about my character. She was lovely and offered to help with quotes in scripts. Do you have any pets? Yeah 1 mouse, 2 cats and 22 goldfish!!! Whats your favourite animal? I love all big cats, like panthers and snow leopards.
