Buckley's Cough Mixture
In 1920's with the founding of a Canadian company from which a mixture that tastes awful was created and became so well known in many Canadian households across the country. William K. Buckley, a pharmacist used his knowledge of cough medicines to create the mixture.

And just what is in the combination that makes it taste so awful? Besides the 153mg of Ammonioum
Carbonate, 267 mg Potassium Bicartonate, 22mg Methol and 2,2mg Camphor per teasppon, Buckley's also contains:

                      Canada Balsum
                      Pine Needle Oil
                      Glycerine

Amongst a host of other items to which not being a pharmiscist I have no idea what
             they are.
