SYNOPSIS. A jornalist in Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Our fellow. Fiftie years old. Mexico, Brazil, Argentina. No job, no money. No love, no nothing. On the scent of a man who visited the island fortie years before. The chilean sculptor Lorenzo Dominguez.
NOTES. Beatiful songs and titanic archeological landscapes. “All here is full of dead and demons” says Dominguez. Filmed at Rapa Nui, Tahiti Nui and Moorea, this video presentes the delicade balance of power between the tradicional and the modern culture.

SYNOPSIS. Teenager Little Lucy (Carolina Touceda) exposed to the lustful Uncle Dorr (Silvestre Byrón). In a mysteriously circunstances she dies at the 1939’ St Sylvester feast day. A metafor about the oppressive nazi atmosphere in South America.
NOTES. Arthur Schnitzler’s classic thema “Fräulein Else” filmed at the exotic Uruguay River. This melodrama show signs and icons of the golden thirties. From the oceanliner Cap Arcona to the airship LZ 127 Graff Zeppelin, german symbols from the decade. Screened by Video 103 (9/20/04).

SYNOPSIS. Large city neurosis. A glance on icons and obsessions. The movie and the cable alienation. Rudolph Valentino and Victor Mature, Count von Cosel and Wallenda Family. The Ivanna de Cogorno tale as imagen and fetish in conflict. Including the first “Bonasera effect”.
NOTES. Filmed in EAF Studios and New York City locations. Its an optional remake from “Reefer Madness” (1936) by Louis Gasnier, a cult objetct: “Reefer Madness II: The True Story” (1985) by Kent Skov; “Java Madness” -a. k.a. “Coffe Madness” (1995) by Bart Everson; “Reefer Madness” (2001) rock-opera by Dan Stud and Kevin Murphy. SYNOPSIS: Astronomers report some corpses from another worlds falling in the South Hemisphere at the Amazon, Brazil. Scientists think about alien between us?
NOTES: At the «Usher line» of “The War of the Worlds” and “The Color Out of Space” from the experimental large-video “Scenes of the Rare, Porn-o and Cruel” (EAF, 2000-01), Lovecraftian are the first Sci-Fi optional medium. Three scenes about H. P. Lovecraft and Ray Bradbury literary aestetics. Screened at the BARS, “Tita Merello” Complex, Buenos Aires (11/3/04).

SYNOPSIS: Fiction based on images and poetics relations about argentine tango singer Carlos Gardel at New York City (1934 – 1935).
NOTES: Designed for Internet the medium “Gardel-New York” show Manhattan and Queens between reality and fiction, present and past –the mytic and the historic. With a poetic view the camera describe The Waldorf Astoria Hotel, The Helmsley Middletowne, The Beaux-Arts, The Paramount Plaza, The NBC Rockefeller Center Plaza and The Paramount Studios Astoria with cuts from her movie pictures.

       
     
   

BLUE FIELDS (Filmoteca 1971 - EAF 2001). Direction: Silvestre Byrón. Starring: Juan José Navarro, Dora Malagrino, Miguel Riglos, Abel Darío, Martha Kott, Alejandro. English. Lenght: 10 min.
SYNOPSIS. Serge, an confused and bored young boy, is leaving his home.
NOTES. Based on the Andre Gide’s poetic prose "Les nourritures terrestres" this pictures became a cult film and a historic issue at the experimental argentine underground way. Screened by Bravo (1/2-6/98) and CanalCorto.com (5/4/01).

   

POINT BLANK (Filmoteca 1972 - EAF 2002). Direction: Silvestre Byrón. Starring: Gustavo Riha, Mario Barberis, Bettina Abril, Jorge Coscia, Alba Fernández, Beatriz Mudra, José Mudra. English. Lenght: 30 min. 
SYNOPSIS.
Three short stories with lonely and sad people.  
NOTES.
Produced as an tele-film, "Point Blank" present the anguish of the urban culture. This project became a cult film like "Blue Fields" at the experimental argentine underground way. Screened by ATC (8/27/87) and Canalcorto.com (2002).

NOTES: Like “Last Journey in Rapa Nui” (EAF, 2001) image-perception with VER literary, erudit and popular, etnical and minimalist music. For Internet, “Amazing/Views of the Imposible” show sensations y animic estates in Europe, Oceanic and the Americas.

A LITTLE PUS SAC (EAF 2001). Direction: Silvestre Byrón. Edition: Jorge Pallares. No players. English-Spanish. Lenght: 375 min.
SYNOPSIS.
The first informatic project in Argentina: experimental images for the Web. The recovery from pictures classificated in 1976 by Archivo Filmoteca. Pure or unknow matters. Mislayed cinema and theater. The experimental from the Filmoteca studio and the rocker from Natacha Moneda/La Chica Perfume (The Perfume-girl); the 1970’s Buenos Aires underground remastered. This codification included the “EAF original production” with unknow Carolina Touceda performances. No bloopers. Images relating to the pure theory of the representation mode. Scientists cultur, philosophical subjects.
NOTES. The project are divided in three splits: "Perdido" (125 min), the unpublished; "Telecine" (130 min), the tele-films; and "Soporte electrónico" (120 min), the electronic support -including the last EAF video production.
