In June 2006, Susie and I decided to redo her gardens. Lou was even " drafted" when needed. We used all the perennials that were in the original garden before we started. We just moved them around, added a few more perennials and some potted annuals to give instant color. The garden was sectioned off into smaller plats and we created permanent paths into each section for ease of working now and in the future. When all the planting was finished, figurines and potted annuals were added. Below is the 2006 view when we completed the garden.

One year later, 2007 view at the top of this page, the perennials have filled in. A few flowers are in bloom in early spring with many more to come thru summer until fall. As you can see chips have been added to define the garden paths. New 2007 closeup photos of the bloomed plants are added below, with more to come. We hope that viewing the 2 gardens on this website will encourage you to make your own.
Our reward was the end result. and it looks even better one year later !!!
