| KitKats not the only one who played it cool those first days. I wanted to be hard to get. It worked and now we are good friends. She chases me but can't catch me. I'm fast! I thnk she loves her face washed with my sloppy kisses now. I love to play hide and seek with my new Mom. When she says "boo" I really run all over the house happy. My new Dads lap is a perfect fit for my nap. Mom said I have to learn to walk on a leash..... I don't want to leave the yard! Mom says I'm doing much better on a leash. She has to run because I walk too fast. I want to get back home! I don't like cars to drive where I walk! Dad left the gate open one day and I did get to run a little before he caught me. Mom wasn't happy, especially with Dad.! I learned the clicker means there's soemthing good waiting for me if I do what my parents want me to do. I do shake for that goodie you have in your hand! I like my "sisters" KitKat and Maya! They say I'm easy to get along with. Maya is bossy and KiKat is quiet. I like to run with KitKat and Maya all over the house.I'm really the fastest one here and Mom and Dad said they should have called me Flash. I'm really tired at the end of the day. It's nice when the neighbor kids put their hands out for me to kiss I bark when I'm happy and Mom says "STOP". I still like to kiss KitKats face too. . . |

| In January 2008 a 10# 31/2 year old "boy" dog named Zeus, came to live with us. I played it cool and didn't pay much attention to him because he just acted like he always lived here and ran all over the house. Mom thinks maybe he should have been named Flash! He didn't pay much attention to me the first few days either but it didn't take him long to wet my face with his sloppy kisses. Now he's here over a year and still washes my face! Now we have a little "sister"named Maya! It's fun to chase each other through the house. Mom puts my food dish in the bathtub because Zeus and Maya want to eat my food and theirs. They like whenl I "holler" for dinner. He and Maya jump as high as the counter... they're so happy. My favorite thing is watching all the birds, squirrels and chipmonks from the patio door and my stool. I try to hide so they don't see me. Mom says I'm very patient! I like to snuggle with my Mom when my Dad has Zeus.and Maya. They want all the laps. Sometime I have to sneak in the closet to nap because they keep me so busy and I'm not use to that. ..... But I like having a brother and sister! |

| I REALLY don't like that thing (camera) Mom's holding but I love to "pester" Zeus and KitKat to play .I'm 2 years old, only 8# but a force to be reckoned with! Sometimes Mom says they should have named me "Trouble". Mom and Dad said things were quiet here before I arrived and they never had a "kid" like me. I love to run with everyone and I like to play ball, even with myself! They say I have a "girly bark". What do they expect! I'm a girl! I let Zeus know he should never try to eat my food and he's a fast learner. I just love chasing everyone, especially KitKat who hides and jumps out at me.When no one else is around I chase the vacumn and bark but Mom said I shouldn't do that. Mom uses the clicker and I behave and sit nice for a treat! They say us kids are "treat motivated" whatever that is! I'm so happy my new Mom and Dad rescued me on Mothers Day 2008. Mom is always dressing me up and I have to say, I sure look cute. It would be nice if everyone would rescue 1 animal and give them a good home. |
