RULES:

            This is the first half of the NASCAR season.  Before the start first half of the season you will be required to pick 18 different STARTERS and 2 different ALTERNATES.  Your alternates will only be used in the event that the starter that you picked for the upcoming race fails to start the race.  If your 1^st alternate also fails to start the race you must then insert your 2^nd alternate, and if he also is not in the race you will receive the position AFTER last place.  EXAMPLE: 43 cars start the race you would receive 44 points for that race.  Your alternates can only be used 1 time each.

NEW RULE : If the driver you pick for a race gets the pole 5 points will be subtracted from your total.

 

 

OBJECTIVE: 

            The objective of the race pool is to finish the season with the fewest amount of points at the end of the season.  Your points are determined by where your driver finishes at the end of each race.  EXAMPLE: If your driver finishes 5^th you will receive 5 points for that race.  Your points are then added up through out the race season and the team with the fewest amount of points will receive the 1^st place prize.  The amounts and number of prizes will be determined by the amount of participants in our league.  (More info on this will be given to you as soon as all entries are in.)  THERE WILL BE NO TIES!!! 

 

 

TIEBREAKER RULES:

          In the event of a tie the team with the most 1^st place finishes will be the winner.  If still tied we will go to the team with the most 2^nd place finishes and then to the 3^rd etc. etc. etc…

 

 

RACE SHEETS:

                The attached sheet must be turned in by FRIDAY FEBRUARY 13, 2009 ALONG WITH YOUR $25.00.  Please adhere to this rule so that we have enough time to process everyone’s lineup.  Everyone will receive a lineup of all participants after the first race, the DAYTONA 500 February, 15th.

 

 

PRIZES:

 

                Prizes will be handed out 1 week after the final race, this will allow us enough time to fully check and verify the final standings.
