| Camp Rules and Safety |
| * Stay on established trails * Don't walk across or through another's campsite. * Quiet time 10pm to 7 am. * Use established cooking sites and tent sites * Clean up other's trash- leave it cleaner than you found it. * Avoid crafts with glitter, sequins, or feathers * Keep animals natural- DO NOT FEED THEM OR TOUCH THEM * Use whistles for emergencies only * Keep flashlights pointed on the ground * Use existing firerings only * Don't burn garbage * Burn wood completely to ashes, remove when cold * Don't dispose of garbage in the toilets * Use garbage cans if none availible pack in and pack out. * Always dispose of water properly. Never near a water source. * No running in the campsite or on trails * Always use a buddy system * Get adult permission when going some where or using the equipment. * Wear closed toed shoes and sock at all times * Follow your Kaper charts and don't switch * No food or drinks in tents: they are not play rooms either * No yelling or screaming at any time * Don't leave stoves and campfires unattended * Keep long hair tied back when cooking. * Don't wear dangling clothes while cooking. * Always have a water bucket near cooking area and camp fire. * No Alcoholic beverages allowed. * Smoking in designated areas and away from girls sight. * No firearms or fireworks allowed. |
