ONE POT COOKING
BREAKFAST TACO
1 box (6oz) hash browns
8 eggs       8oz cheese
14 flour tortillas or pita bread
oil or butter

Follow directions on the package for hash browns. cook until they start to brown. Scramble eggs and add to hash browns. Add salt and pepper to taste cook til done. Add cheese. Place on heated pita or tortillas. Serves 8
CALAMITY
6 eggs      1 lb bacon     1 onion
1 bag frozen hash browns
1 hunk (10 oz) cheese

Fry bacon and onion. Drain excess grease. Add hash browns and cook till brown the add eggs and cook till done. Remove from heat and add cheese. Serves 8.
BREAKFAST
BAGS OF GOLD
1 can tomato soup,  1/2 c. water,
1/4lb. block of cheese cut into 1/2 inch cubes
3 canned biscuits    1/2 c milk

Heat tomato soup with milk and water. Tightly wrap each cube with dough. Drop into boiling soup. Cover and simmer for 15 min. Allow 1 can per person. Serves 2
SQUAW CORN
1 lb. bacon cooked and broken into pieces
1 bell pepper cut fine, 3 onions cut fine
3 med. cans whole kernal corn, drained

Saute onions, peppers. Add corn and bacon. Heat through. Serves 6
FRENCH TOAST CRUNCH
12 slices bread   4 eggs beaten
2 c. wheat flakes cereal crunched
1/2 c. butter     1 c. milk

Cut bread slices into halves. Dip halves into beaten eggs and milk and coat with cereal. Brown in butter. Servd with syrup or jelly. Yields 24 halves.
LUNCH OR DINNER
RING TUM DITTY
1lb. bacon    3 cans corn
1 large green pepper     3 onions
1/2 lbs. american cheese
12 slices of bread    2 cans tomatoes 19oz

Fry bacon set aside. Pour off all but a little of the grease. Chop green peppers and onions and saute in skillet. Add tomatoes, corn and crumbled bacon. Heat thoroughly and add cheese. Serve on toasted bread. Serves 4.
PANCAKES
1 egg       1 c. flour      2 Tbs. sugar
2Tbs. melted butter or oil
3/4 c. milk     1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder

Beat Egg, butter or oil and milk together. mix flour sugar salt and baking powder together. MIx the 2 together. Cook on a hot- well greased skillet Makes 16 pancakes.

Variations:
Chocolate chip- sprinkle in when batter is in the skillet
Apple- use applesauce instead of milk add cinnamon
Nutty banana- add 2 mashed banans and 1/4 c. pecan pieces to mix.
SLUM
5 lbs. hamburger   5 cans tomato soup
5 sm cans tomato sauce 2 large onions chopped, 2 pkg. ( 12 oz ) shell macaroni,
1 lb cheese cut into 1-inch chunks, garlic and salt & pepper to taste.

Brown hamburger and onion, pour off excess grease. Add seasoning. Blend soup and sauce with 5 soup cans water and pour over meat mixture. Add cheese and heat untill cheese melts. Pour over macaroni. Serves 30
VERSATILE ONE-POT MEAL-BEEF
3lbs. ground beef  1green pepper chopped
1 large onion, chopped     salt & pepper

Brown meat with onion and green pepper. Drain grease; add seasoning. then using this as the base, add ingredients to make one of the following:

CAMPER'S STEW
4 cans vegetable soup


DIRTY RICE
2 cupps rice
3 1/2 c. water

CHILIE CON CARNE
3 cans kidney beans
3 cans tomatoes

SPAGHETTI
3 cans tomato sauce
3 lbs spaghetti cooked
POTATO STEW
1 med. onion   1lb smoked sausage
4-5 lg potatoes   1/4 c cooking oil

Peel potatoes, cutting into small cubes. Put aside. Cut up onion. Add cooking oil to pan saute onions and sausage for about 5 min or until brown. Add potatoes and cover with water. Let cook for about 30-45 min or until water is gone. Serves 5
