1966 Westfalia Camper

Here's the bus in Wendover, Utah/Nevada               Here we are at Yellowstone National Park.

Here's the fun I had swapping out trannies in it.  Nothing was wrong with the tranny that was in it, except that it was a 'Freeway Flier' tranny.  Running  a 'Freeway Flier tranny in a bus is like running a Power pulley in a bus.  Not a good idea.  After putting in a stock geared transaxle, ALL my run hot conditions went a way.  Top cruising speed was reduced to 60-65mph, but when you're in a bus, what's the hurry?
