Chapter 10 Complex Numbers
The following outlines the topics, time lines and suggestions for the completion of the OAC Algebra & Geometry Independent Unit.
- Students should read and study the examples in each section of the textbook before attempting the problems associated with the given section. The unit work done by the student will not be submitted. It is the responsibility of the student to cover all recommended topics.
- Achievement will be measured by a summative unit test.
- Students may work at their own pace, but should plan to be finished in time for the unit test.
- The list of recommended homework questions is more extensive than what most students will need to complete to mast the given skill.
- Students should practice a variety of questions until they are confident that they have mastered the skill and then move on to the next lesson. (It is not necessary to complete all of the recommended questions.)
- It is recommended that students spend approximately 1.5 hours on problems from each section.
- Students may bring one 8
2@ by 11" sheet (both sides) to the unit test. The student=s name must be at the top of the document followed by a statement that the crib sheet is the authored by that student.
