Hal Downs RV6A

The plane now has 125 hours on it.

I am using a Lycoming o-320 with Superior Millenium cylinders to get to 160 hp.

Here's the business end of Hal's RV6a. He's running at 160HP fixed pitch prop setup.

These pictures were taken during his first annual inspection.

Nicely detailed paint. He had lots of fun painting his plane, just ask him about it sometime for an interesting story...
Lot's of gloss and nice detailing underneath the tail section.
This is historically a tough area on RV's the fiberglass flairing for the tail junction. Nicely done here as is plainly visible.
Gear leg flairing and wheel pants, no detail left undone on this one!
This is the castering nosewheel that the RV6A uses.
