CAPTION: Isaac Cross We've got no less than 10 matches tonight, four championships on the line, the FINALS of the Cut 'n Shoot Heritage Tournament...fans, its going to be one crazy night. Now you might notice that I'm here by myself tonight..well, it was decided that as part of the process of hiring a permanent color man for EWC broadcasts, we were gonna try to have several different people call a match or two and see where the knowledge and the chemistry were best. My first partner this evening is someone well known south of the border, as he has been calling matches for smaller Lucha promotions for the past several months. Cross: Dear GOD!!! al Nassir just grabbed a ringside chair and just PLASTERED Bean Martinez with it, who was doing commentary for our Spanish announcing team.. and now he's got Jorge Alomar by his tie..and he just backhanded him across the face. Alej: This dog is truly beneath contempt...what you forgot to tell the fans is that Mr. Nassir hasn't been able to beat Militar de Furia without cheating and underhanded tactics.. *crowd pop* Cross: And Militar has had about enough of this!!! Runs to ringside, RUNS THE RING APRON AND DIVES ONTO NASSIR ON THE OUTSIDE!!!! Alej: Hipbuster cross bodyblock by Furia right off the bat! And Militar is firing lefts and rights on top of Nassir...and Militar up, grabs Nassir, sends him into the steps, Nassir reverses....de Furia lands ON HIS FEET on top of the steps...MOONSAULT onto Nassir!!!!! *crowd pop* Cross: And Militar tosses Nassir back into the ring and the "Chic Sheikh" not looking so chic as he's in the corner on his knees, begging for mercy. Alej: That's not gonna fly here....FURIA with a corner piston senton, known stateside as the Bronco Buster..and that splash bent Nassir's knees back in a really painful direction..and Nassir looks quite hurt now, as Furia shouts to the fans! *SHORT REPORT MODE ON* Furia went right to work on the legs, using sliding dropkicks, shinbreakers, and fast elbowdrops to continue to work on the legs of Nassir, finally locking in a half crab for about 30 seconds while "The Chic Sheikh" screamed like a stuck pig. Furia picks him up, sends him to the ropes, but Nassir's legs give under him, so Furia turns it into a standing corkscrew legdrop and covers for a 2. Furia picks up Nassir and dropkicks him over the top rope.. then backs up and runs...backflip into a springboard moonsault that flattens Nassir on the outside. Nassir slowly gets to his knees as Furia climbed to the top turnbuckle...but Nassir dives for the ropes, and Furia falls and crotches himself on the top rope... as Furia started to fall to the outside, Nassir hits an uppercut chair shot that sends Furia backwards like a shot, bouncing off of the center ring. Nassir takes over with cheap stomps, spitting on the fallen Furia with vigor and mouthing off in Spanish to several ringside fans...although he is still limping a bit. Nassir chokes Furia on the second rope, then slingshots him backwards. Nassir picks him up, sends him to the ropes, flying clothesline. Pin, 2 count. Nassir to the top rope, sommersault leg drop, cover, 2 count. Nassir picks up Furia, Furia hits a couple stomach shots and a spin kick that stuns Nassir. As Furia comes off the ropes, Nassir backdrops him over the top rope....Furia lands on his feet, but turns around into a slingshot senton by Nassir. Nassir rams Furia into the spanish announcers table head first, then whips him into the steel guardrail, leaving Furia dangling over it. Nassir then runs, jumps off of a nearby chair, and bulldogs Furia over the guardrail. A couple shots, and Nassir tosses Furia back over. Nassir drags Furia back to the SpAT, hooks his head, and vertical suplexes him onto the table..it doesn't break. Nassir to the top rope. Signals for the sommersault leg drop, Furia rolls out of the way, Nassir goes through the table. Furia finally gets up first, picks up Nassir, and tosses him back into the ring. Furia picks Nassir up, sends him to the ropes, Nassir tries to reverse into a floatover DDT, but Furia re-reverses into a belly to belly suplex. Both men up, Furia gets Nassir in position for a DDT, Nassir picks him up for a reverse atomic drop, Furia flips over into a Rude Awakening position, Nassir twists aroud, gets FURIA into a DDT position, Furia grabs and yanks the legs, then falls back into a slingshot, but Nassir jumps to the second rope. Furia right up there with him, but Nassir gets the better of a brief fist exchange and nails a Tornado/Scirocco DDT on Furia. 2 1/2 count. Cross: And Nassir finally deciding enough is enough here, as he's standing over Furia, crosses his arms over.. Alej: We could be seeing the crossed-arms camel clutch here, and this is a very effective submission hold for Nassir...most matches he's won he's won with this. Cross: And Furia is flailing, not letting Nassir get the arms properly crossed..FURIA WITH A HEADSNAP RIGHT INTO NASSIR'S GROIN!!!! *crowd pop* Alej: Furia sliding out behind Nassir...Nassir whips around, boot to the stomach, followed by a FAST powerbomb by Furia...and now Furia on the top rope, MOONSAULT.. and immediately up again... Cross: And he heads for the other side...ANOTHER moonsault.. and he's up again and for the third corner...THIRD MOONSAULT!!!
