| RIVER
Innocently the river tracks along A python at ease Dodging humps and bumps of earth she flows, Her heart thumps in waves of murmur Chuckling with each splash Whistling along bends as her bulk extends. Under the eye of the sun, she drifts Through nature and habitations Spider-legging through vegitations Rumbling, grumbling, moaning, chuckling. Beyond the rocky edifice along the foothills Where green velvets the rock-face Kissing the sand dunes that crumbles and reappears In a childs play by the gusts of wind. Here I sit, wet feet at an estuary, counting pebbles, Pebbles splashed with spongy ripples Spying, squinting, watching as the day ends. Like replica of free flow of life. |
