On Febuary 18, 2001, NASCAR lost its greatest driver.  Dale Earnhardt gave his all, every time he went out on the track.  All the fans know him as "The Man In Black" or "The Intimidator".  But for the first time, on the last lap of the Daytona 500, they saw a different side to him.  The side that all real true race fans knew.  The loving side, even though he still had a chance at winning, Dale Earnhardt began to slow down.  He broke away from the three car chain, and began blocking the pack behind him, LITTLE did anyone know, while watching Micheal Waltrip crossed the finish line and won the race, they were missing a legend dying.  Dale died instantly when he hit the wall head on.

On behalf of all race fans, I just want to say-We miss you Dale. You are the best of them all!!!
