I hadn't had a chance to hear David who replaced Pat A on fiddle play yet as the last time I had seen the guys was at the Grey Cup Party back in November and everyone that I had known was still there. David just blew me away with his solo during Sweet Child of Mine and Devil Went Down to Georgia. He was awesome! I didn't get a chance to talk to him after the show but I do want to let him know, I thought he was wicked and he'll do great as part of Emerson Drive. |

I didn't get my goofy pic of Dale until the VERY END of the show. I was about to take a pic of Dale and his goofy face but Brad stepped in front just as I snapped and now I am the proud owner of a pic of Brad's jeans. :oP Brad stepped away and Dale made another goofy face for me to snap. I've christened Dale Ham Number 2 behind Brad for hamming it up to the camera. |

The guys finished their encore with Fall in Me and everyone was singing along. They bowed and grabbed fans hands as they ran back and forth across the stage. I waited for Brad to come over and he gave me this big smile as he bent down to grab my hand. I stretched up to give him a hug and whispered in his ear that I had stuff for him and I would give it to him later on. Lisa and I then high tailed out of the club after unsuccessfully trying to get Lynn to come with us. She didn't feel comfortable going even after we insisted that Brad would love to meet her and to come with us. After saying our goodbyes, Lisa and I headed to the back of the club to wait along with a few other girls. We saw Brad who told us to wait and he would come talk to us later. Gerry later came out and said that the guys were signing autographs and we could wait out here and go in small groups or go back in the club and get in line. We all decided to wait outside instead. Lisa and I decided to go in the last group because we weren't in that big of a hurry to get things signed. We just wanted to chat a bit. When we did get in there, Brad was all smiles and gave me a hug again and asked how I was doing. Someone told him that Lisa and I had been hanging out by the bus for an hour before the concert had started and he just laughed. He asked if I could stick around for a bit after as he wanted to talk. I said I would be sticking around as I needed to give him his stuff. I got a hug from the rest of the guys and got Danick to sign the pic from the CD Release Party where he was sitting on the bull. I introduced myself to David and Dale. Dale and I got into a conversation about websites and for once there was finally a member of Emerson Drive who understood my language! LOL |
