1. INTRODUCTION
--------------------------------

Dropsession is an original puzzle game developed by Eriban Software.
To solve the puzzles you need to manipulate a force field such that
the pieces form the indicated figure on the board.

The core of this distribution is a Java 1.1 applet. The applet comes
with a total of 46 puzzles which are distributed over six puzzle
sets. The game can be played with mouse and/or keyboard.

This package contains two different looks:
   1) a basic look, where each puzzle set has its own unique look.
   2) a wooden look, where all puzzles have a realistic wooden look.

The advantage of the basic look over the wooden look is that it uses
less memory and that it requires less image data. Other than that it
is a matter of taste which look you prefer.

3. HOW TO RUN THE GAME
--------------------------------

To run Dropsession copy all files in this archive to one directory.
Subsequently open "play1.html" or "play2.html" in your web-browser.
The applet should appear, and you should be able to play the game.
If you experience any problems make sure that you have a browser
that fully supports Java 1.1.

4. HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN PAGE
--------------------------------

NOTE: This section is intended for people who have been given
permission by Eriban Software to put the game on their
website or to distribute it by any other means. If this
does not apply to you, ask for permission before you
        distribute the game!

The "play?.html" files demonstrate how to embed the applet in your
html page. You should use them as a basis for making your own
Dropsession page. You can choose to omit the "detach" button. The
comments in the files tell how this can be done.

The "play?.html" files also include basic help on how to play the
game. You can modify the help text and layout if you want to. It is,
however, highly recommended that you make some help information
easily accessible to the user. Read the comments in the files for
more details.
